Intro
hey guys it’s Adrien so you just got your brand new s25 Ultra now you’re trying to decide on a case for it well you should check out Taurus’s oan spin cases because these have a convenient built-in kick inand you could use it horizontal vertical and you can also rotate it up to 360° the cases feel great in the hand there’s easy S Pen and Port access zero wobble no issues with S Pen use or NFC there’s also Mac safe and Chi wireless charging and magnetic mounting thanks to the n56 magnets you can also use Max saave accessories with this case as well the thick protective bezels and air pockets allow the phone to survive drops of up to 12 ft and you can also use Taurus’s Glasco screen protector to further protect the screen so take a closer look at the Taurus oand spin cases and a big thanks to Taurus for sending this out for review in the

Box for the screen protector we have the screen protector applicator along with a screen protector already installed there’s a secondary screen protector if you need it a scraper warranty card cleaning items for your phone screen and user manual in the Box for the cases you get the actual case and a warranty card
Design
the cases have a PC and TPU build along with the aluminum alloy kickstand now the clear o case comes in at around 49 G and the other two o spin cases com in at around 57 to 58 G let’s take a quick look at the cases before I install the s25 ultra in it now the cases look very similar but this is the O case and this is the o spin case and the difference is is that this kickstand here actually spins so you can see I could pull it down just like you would expect on any normal kickstand but I can actually rotate this a full 360° whereas on the oand case this is fixed and it cannot be rotated so that’s about as much angulation as you have in all other aspects the cases are pretty much the same so we have a cutout at the top for the microphone there’s a huge camera lens or camera module cutout at the back back here of course we have the built-in kickstand and then if we look at the side we have these type of button covers right here on the other side we have the Horus logo embossed into there and then at the very bottom we have cutouts for the Spen speaker Grill and USB typ-c charging port on the inside of the case this is where we have that magnetic mounting ring and this is using n56 magnets so you can actually use these for Max safe charging and cheat wireless charging I’ll now install the
Installation
s25 ultra into the ostan spin case so I’ll start with the top here press in and you can see that clicks into place very quickly now that the case is
Dune OStand Spin Case
applied let’s take a look at the ports and cutout so you can see this is nicely centered here we still have easy and tactile button access and then looking at the bottom we have the USB type-c port completely unobstructed the speaker Grill and S Pen cutout and notice where the S Pen is if I take a look here it’s kind of actually slightly recessed and that’s so that when you click the S Spen it actually Jets out or protrudes so you can easily just slide that out and slide it back in as needed now I do have oily fingerprints you can see the glass is clean if I run my finger there you could see that streak that it’s left right here but if I go on the back and I kind of do the same with my fingers just kind of looking at it like in person and even on the camera I’m really not seeing much in terms of smudges or oil so it’s doing a fairly fantastic job of resisting those I also like that they chose to go with the Taurus logo emblem instead of putting the Taurus writing on the back of the case by the way thanks to the case design you can actually sit the phone completely vertical or horizontal without any additional support and this
Clear OStand Case
is what the clear version of the oand case looks like so if you want your s25 Ultra true color showing through this is going to be the case you want to get and this is what it looks like when viewed from the side so another really beautiful case only difference is the built-in kick stand on this case can’t actually be rotated around 360° the hand field on the clear version of the case is definitely not as grippy because it’s this smooth type of plastic finish all the way through and it will pick up fingerprints and smudges a little bit more because it’s not a matte type of finish so keep that in mind and
Black OStand Spin Case
this is what the Black version of the taus oan spin case looks like so it’s the same type of great matte type of finish on the sides of the phone same as with the other color here and then we have a smooth back but this is really kind of stealth and Sleek looking the
Hand Feel
hand feel with the case is fantastic now the side of this has a matte type of finish so it actually adds a ton of grip ability the back is very smooth it’s not matte like on the sides but it’s not a super slippery material as well so it actually feels pretty grippy in hand you can see I can just go ahead rotate this you know manipulate this kind of one-handed without any major issues
Protection
in terms of the camera lens module protection so you can see if I angle this to the side the camera lens is actually SI recessed so the cutout lip or bezel lip is raised high enough so that if you put the phone flat down you don’t have to worry about the camera lenses getting damaged and on the front screen you could see that that protective lip goes all the way around on the top the sides and at the bottom so anytime you place the phone screen down it’s not going to get scratched and when looked at from the side you can see that the actual corner of the cases actually extend or protrude out just slightly compared to the rest of the frame and that’s because we do have these kind of air pockets or air cushion Corners to help with impact resistance and all of those design elements make this phone rated for drops of up to 12
Wobble Test
ft High there’s also zero wobble on the tus Cas so you can see if I press on the different Corners opposing Corners no type of Shifting or wobbling at all anywhere you tap on the phone that’s
S Pen
just Fant fantastic and if I use the Spen you can see basically wherever I write or Draw on the screen Spen use is completely unaffected by the n56 magnets
NFC
in her and if you use NFC it’s completely unaffected with the Taurus
Kickstand
case the built-in kickstand is nicely implemented in this case and you do get spoiled when you use a case with a kickstand so if I do a side view it’s nice and flush with the case this is why we have zero wobble at all now when I want to get access to the kickstand there is a little cutout here you just slip your finger in there and you could see that that pulls out pretty easily now this is actually very well tensioned in friction and it’s not like if you just press it it just collapses right back and it takes some doing and this is the noise it makes when you snap it back in so you can hear you know that is well tensioned so whichever uh orientation you put this all just put it here horizontally that is not going anywhere you can see as I press on the phone screen the kickstand is not buckling folding you know changing in any way if I bang the table you can see the phone is not going to tip over it’s really strong in there now if I go ahead and do that vertically same deal again the phone’s moving a bit but there’s no chance of the phone tipping over or wobbling and because this is the actual spin version of the kickand you can see I can rotate it and you know get an angulation like this and maybe I want it a little more at an angle you have way more versatility and how you can angulate the kickstand compared to other cases and if you’re a fidgeter I could see you know this clicking noise here being kind of relaxing to just do whenever you’re
Magsafe & Qi Charging
bored Mac safe charging also works perfectly along with ch wireless charging and if you love using Mac safe
Magnetic Accessories
accessories with your case that’s no problem so I’m using this Macs safe wallet and I could go ahead and just kind of you know hang the phone right from the wallet without any type of issues then go ahead and separate it
Magnetic Mounting
whenever I like I was able to magnetically mount the phone to my metal shelving thanks to the n56 magnets and I didn’t have any type of issue but I would only recommend doing that to you know a fairly stable surface if you
GlassGO Screen Protector
bought the Taurus glassow screen protector this is how you install it so first you’re going to use the included wet wipe to wipe the screen down then use the drying cloth to dry everything and then use the dust removal sticker to remove any remaining dust next you’ll make sure that the bottom of your phone where all of the ports and S Pen are is lined up with the bottom where the pull tab is so you can just go ahead and just seat your phone and you can see that sits nice and flush in the applicator and then you just pull the tab all the way down until the screen prot detector is applied now if you notice any type of bubbles you would use the scraper tool to just kind of smooth those out now
Screen Protector Proeformance
taking a look at the reflectivity so it’s a little bit more reflective than with the stock um s25 Ultra screen with the anti-reflective coating I did read my fingerprint once I install the screen protector and the fingerprint unlock is just as responsive and fluid now if I do a fingerprint streak test I could definitely see it’s really resistant to fingerprints I went ahead and readded the Taurus o stand spin case with the screen protector applied and you could see that it’s zero issues the screen protector didn’t lift up or peel in any way and those protective lips and bezels are completely protecting the screen along with the screen protector so yeah
