hey it’s Adrian and if you’re looking to protect your brand new Galaxy zold 6 you’re going to want to check out these carbon fiber cases from B so this is their Aurora air case and if you know anything about Kevlar fiber is extremely durable while remaining lightweight and it offers great scratch resistance now these are made with 600D Kevlar fiber now this is their Montage case which offers hinge protection now one thing to note about both of these cases is that the protection is limited to the back of the phone there is no front case on these so if you’re looking to protect the front of the phone well you can also use their glass Warrior screen protector which is supposed to give you great touch response excellent Clarity while remaining scratch resistant and providing EDG to EDG coverage so this is really for someone who just wants a minimalist type of hand field while having some sort of protection so let take a closer look at what this combination looks like and a big thanks to Banks for sending these out for

review in the glass Warrior box we have this mounting guide for it there’s also a huge anti-static sticker one pane of the glass Warrior screen protector cleaning wipes dust stickers and cloth so the Box comes with the rear case for the zold 6 so here is the Aurora air in the Kevlar fiber this is the pattern and look at how thin that is and really in the hand I can’t really tell that I’m even holding anything now the Montage air case it’s a little bit heavier like I could feel that I’m holding this but it’s still very light weight and we can see this is the hinge protection it’s built in and it’s connected right to the edge of the case here and also fairly thin as well so I’m just going to put these on and let you know my thoughts to
GlassWarrior Screen Protector
install the screen protector we’ll first use the cleaning wipe so I’ve already wiped the screen down a little bit with a lint-free cloth but I’ll go ahead and use the suppli cleaning wipe on top of that and it looks pretty clean to me so I’ll go to the next step which is to put the mount down now it does show it has a top and a bottom so I’ll just drop it on her so we’re just going to pull down on here and make sure that you leave the glass just like this so that there’s no dust that can get at the bottom and then I’ll just drop it gently into place just like so and it mentions to press in the middle and that’s going to help get the bubbles out so I’ll just press it in the middle there and this is what the glass Warrior screen protector looks like once it’s installed on the zold 6 so if we take a closer look it covers the usable screen but it leaves the black side bezel uncovered and taking a look at a top view you could definitely see um there is a raised glass layer on there but the clarity seems pretty good I’ll just open the screen up and yeah there is still reflection on here so it doesn’t have a type of anti-at cating but yeah the screen is still very Vivid and bright and in terms of touch functionality so you can see I can just cycle through and I didn’t even turn on the option um for touch sensitivity but let me turn that on right now so you can see you could actually turn on touch sensitivity to just make it a bit more responsive if you find it it’s impeding anything but it seems pretty fine to me even without that option turn on and just kind of gliding my fingers down and navigating around my fingers not getting stuck or anything like that no type of friction so it seems perfectly usable just like the original screen just with enhance protection and this is what the Aurora
Aurora ArmorAir Kevlar Case
armor a looks like on the zold 6 and if we take a side view we could see that the case doesn’t add much bulk at all it is such a slim thin and lightweight case the phone almost feels stock except you have the added benefit of having protection on the back and a nice grip thanks to this weave type of pattern and looking at the camera lens and module you could see it’s nicely recessed in there so it’s no problem anytime you put the phone face down it’s going to be fully protected we have cutouts for the microphone ports at the top of the phone and at the bottom a along with the typ-c charging port now looking at the side where we have the volume and power button since the case is so slim it’s very easy to lock and unlock the phone very quickly opening and closing the phone is also a little bit easier since we now have grip on the right side here looking at the inner screen view the lip on the case does extend a little bit higher than the frame of the phone however if you put it face down it’s still not going to be protected on the cover screen side because there’s no cover on there and if even though I have oily fingerprints there’s no type of residue being left behind even when I look at it at different angles when you place the phone down on a table while is folded up there is noticeable wobble and if we take a top view you can see that’s because of how much this camera protector area here juts out now when you open the phone up you can see there’s also wobble as well of course because one side is a little bit elevated due to the case and the other side has no case at all except for the screen protector and if I try to use the S Pen on here you can see that it does move a little bit but if I kind of place pressure on one corner here and I WR I can keep it you know pretty much in place and we still retain quick and easy wireless charging the glass Warrior screen protector does add some level of protection just for the usable screen space but if you were to drop your phone and it landed on any of the corners or on the hinge well you’d be out of luck now if you wanted to kind of Jimmy rig something so I have this really cheap PL plastic front protector case and I’ll just slide that on right there and it’s easily able to fit it with the glass Warrior screen protector there’s really no issues and I could go ahead open and close the phone so just you know in a pinch or if I really wanted to I could probably find something better matching maybe something you know fully silver or fully black and you can still place it on top of the glass Warrior screen protector but if you want the most stealth type of setup and hand feel it would be the combination of the glass Warrior screen protector on front ha and the Aurora armor air Kevlar case let’s
Montage ArmorAir Kevlar Case
remove the Aurora armor air case from the phone and you’ll notice it’s pretty easy for me to remove this case because I’ve just been taking it on and off to you know weigh it to do thumbnails to do Boll so when your have yours set up it’s not going to pop out that easily because you’re going to have this adhesive strip which I have it’s just I’ve been using this you know quite a lot so it’s not as effective you know removing it you know maybe 20 or 30 times while making this video now for the Montage case same deal we have an adhesive strip here and I have been removing this on and off quite a bit as well but to put it on you’re just going to snap it into place and it goes in very easily and this is what it looks like with the phone fully opened and this is what the Montage armor air case looks like on the zold 6 fully closed and I really like this stealth black kind of matte type of look now in terms of grip ability it still has really good grip it’s not a slippery surface you can see as I move my thumb there’s some friction however with the Aurora armor airc case there’s definitely more grip because the weave pattern is actually a texture that you can feel it’s raised and hair it’s nice and flat now if I just run my fingernail across this you can see I have a little bit of lines but I can easily just you know kind of get rid of those by just running my finger along it so it’s you know fairly stiff and uh durable now we have the bangs logo here so designed by bangs in the bottom corner here and if we take a look at the lens modules they’re nicely recessed in that housing that protective housing so again when you put the phone down you aren’t going to have any issues however there is significant rocking same as with the Aurora armor aircase just because of this protrusion here now if we go ahead and put the phone flat down the rocking is still there but because we have the hinge going right down the middle you know it’s not a diagonal rocking it’s either on this side or this side and same as with the Aurora armor air opening and closing is very easy now that we have this added grippable area on the right side of the case and looking at the inside screen the lip extends ever so slightly but again you’re still not going to want to put your phone face down because there’s no type of raise protection on the cover screen side since the Montage case is also very slim and lightweight opening or locking and unlocking the phone is just as fluid and responsive as with the Aurora armor air case when using the Spen as long as I don’t press too much much it’s still fairly easy to go ahead and use it now you can see I do have a little bit of rocking but if I keep my palm down on this side I can kind of keep it a little bit planted and navigating around on the phone you can see there’s not a tendency for it to wobble like if I have my finger kind of in one panel since it’s only going to require you know a lot of effort to kind of push it down on that side so if I was to swipe over you know go ahead tap on this you know I’m not tapping overly hard so for the most part it stays fairly stable on here now the hinge on here is a nice and textured hinge so you have a lot of grip which is why I prefer the hand feel on this since the hinge is so slippery on the phone when it’s exposed so this is a great kind of design choice now one thing I noticed about this is this is actually magnetic you can see I could put this box cutter shake it put it upside down and it stays in place so yeah we have a magnetic hinger and this just flaps or snaps right back into place really easily so opening and closing this is what it looks like top down View and you can see that slides out of the way very easily and when I’m opening it I’m kind of putting my fingers on the hinge which has the grip and opening it like that so yeah bottom view let’s see and then a top view and just like the Aurora armor a there is no front protection with this case so you will have to run the glass Warrior screen protector now like with the previous case you can still put on you know your preferred type of front protection if if you really want to have something there and you can see that easily fits over the glass Warrior screen protector and the hint still functions perfectly well as it should there doesn’t seem to be any type of impedance while I open and close and since this left frame on here is not held in place with adhesive you can see I can kind of shift it out of place or move it around when I do open the hinge the hinge will roll over on it which is why you’re hearing that click there let’s hear it again but in no way does it prevent me from stopping opening and closing the case fluidly you’ll just hear that noise unless you get a case where you know the adhesive keeps this Frame nicely in place same as with the Aurora armor air case we have quick and easy wireless

charging so the bangs Aurora armor air and Montage armor air are beautiful Kevlar fiber cases that don’t add a lot of bulk at all they’re super slim and lightweight but I do prefer the Montage armor air case because it kind of widens the phone a bit with the hinge protection and I’ve always felt like you know the zold 6 I would prefer it to be a little bit wider now on top of that we do have this hinge protector here which is nicely textured and adds to the grip ability of the case because the hinge by itself you know can be a little bit slippery so it’s good to have that protection and yeah we do have you know nice added grip ability overall we still retain wireless charging and you know it’s good at resisting smudge um fingerprint scratches and things like that now I know some of you are going to wonder why would someone buy a phone case that just has rear protection and there’s no front cover protection at all and believe it or not there’s actually a decent amount of users who like this type of slim and stealth look and handf and you know they don’t have a history of dropping their phone so they just want something with basic protection anytime they put it down on a table or any type of surface where the camera lens is protected and you know just the back of the body so it doesn’t get scratched and of course you know you can run the glass War screen protector or any screen protector that you like on here but if the phone is dropped on any of the corners or if you know you bump this into a wall or you know some kind of hard surface well you’re not going to be protected so you do have to know what you’re getting into and you do have to be you know mindful as a user of how well you take care of your phone and you know how many instances you’ve had of dropping it or bumping it because this may not be the case for you if you’re someone who expects to drop or bump your phone but if you like and appreciate this type of look and slim andal setup and you want to pick up either the Aurora armor air or the Montage armor air case which I’m holding right now I’m going to leave some links down below for you to check it out and I’ll also leave a coupon code Dem 15 so you can get 15% off sitewide on the banks official website and if you’re looking for a phone case that has both front and rear protection and you don’t want to kind of you know run some kind of mver front cover like I was showing earlier well stay tuned because I have more upcoming case reviews for the Zol 6 but yeah let me know what you think of the bangs Aurora armor air and the Montage armor air cases you know how do you feel about the look would you consider a setup like this where you’re just having back protection and minimal front protection with a screen protector or is this just you know an absolute you know know from you straight out of the gate because of that curious to hear what you guys have to say and as always if you found this video uplo please consider checking out some of my other review videos I review a bunch of different types of tech products so I’m sure you’ll find something you like and don’t forget to like And subscribe and I’ll see you in the next one soon
