review in terms of what you get in the box and don’t let the box fool you the headphones are really good quality even though the packaging looks kind of plain but what you do get is um 3.5 millimeter headphone jacks which is great as a backup so if you ever run out of battery and you’re one of the lucky ones where your phone still takes 3.5 millimeter input you can always connect the headphones to that it also comes with a type c charging cable which is great like some cheaper headphones um they just give you the micro usb so it’s type c which is easy to find everywhere else you also get a manual and i really do recommend reading the manual for these headphones because there are some features that may come in handy for you and then of course you have the headphones which are foldable okay so before i get into the design i just want
Specifications
to touch really briefly on the specs for the headphones so these have um dual 40 millimeter drivers and they come with a bluetooth 5.1 now the profiles supported on this version are hfp so hands-free profile a2dp and avrcp now these are bluetooth 5.1 like i mentioned and the newest spec is actually bluetooth 5.2 however um i don’t think you’re missing out on much so one of the differences that may be important to you is on bluetooth 5.2 the millisecond or the lag time is uh two milliseconds and on bluetooth 5.1 which are what these have it is uh three milliseconds lockdown what does that mean for you well if in the past you’ve ever watched a show or you’ve watched someone singing or talking and you notice the audio is a bit uh desynced or the audio is a bit off like a bit late you know when you’re matching the lips then you know that’s probably a high latency or lag time with these headphones listening to music listening to people talking there is no audio issues um or any lip sync issues so you’re gonna be fine these are super

lightweight headphones they come in at around 200 grams or 0.44 pounds under half a pound now the memory foam ear muffs these are really comfortable like i can wear them for hours even with glasses on and with them pressed up against the side of my head they’re still quite comfortable you can see that material just bounces right back these are also foldable for portability so you could just rotate these in and then snap them in you know just to kind of carry them like really compact adjusting these are is really easy it’s like most of the other ones you just pull it out and you can hear it just click so it just stays in by friction and in terms of build quality so the same type of material this kind of memory foam that’s on the inside here it’s also at the bottom here the material here is a bit more stiff and you can see it’s pretty much an all plastic build which is why it’s so light but there is this uh metal part here which does keep it uh you know pretty stable pretty firm i feel solid and you can see it does get pretty wide so if i pull this out to the max here you can see it can go pretty wide and i’m really pulling it out and seems to have no issues there so the right side
Buttons & Controls
of the earphones are where you would find all the controls and buttons so you can see you have a volume up right there the power button which also doubles as a multi-function button you also have the volume down button and these buttons have double functions so the volume up that functions as a track next or and the volume down is track previous and then the power button also functions as a multi-function button and i’ll get into that later you also have the type c charging port there um the flashing led light you can see it going off there um the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack if you run out of battery and you just want to plug these into your phone providing you have a port on your phone and then of course the microphone port so you have the volume uh up um power button and volume down now when you press the volume up and down that’ll either forward the track um video or music that you’re listening to or go to the previous one if you long press the plus or long press the minus that’s how you adjust the volume levels now the power button here that serves a couple of functions so you could just turn it on or if you press and hold that down it’ll turn the headphones on start flashing and that’s when you know you’re in bluetooth pairing mode which you can see right there now if you’re into using voice assistants like you know google voice or siri what you can do is if you double tap that uh power button you could see on my phone here it just pulls up the google voice assistant all right so let’s get into the most important
Sound Quality
part of the review which is the sound quality so before i get started i’m not an audiophile but i have tested a lot of bluetooth headphones and earphones and that’s the angle i’m going to be coming at it from hey i want to do a quick sound demo [Applause] [Music] in terms of bass and i do like having bass and hearing bass when i listen to music so i’ve listened to a wide genre of different types of music and the bass is definitely there but it’s not overpowering to the point where it’s like rattling your head or it’s like shaking on your head when the bass kicks in which is great for me i like it where it is if i had to nitpick something about this sound i would say it could do with like a slight enhancement on the treble uh portion of music but again that’s really nitpicking otherwise i’ve just had great listening experiences overall like i mentioned um i do like to listen to it uh pretty loud and even at 100 playing like a wide genre of music like bass um just pure vocals or whatever it is i don’t notice any distortion even at 100 so there’s no active uh noise cancellation technology and i wouldn’t expect it for headphones that are under 25 but once i’m playing my music like 80 to 100 say um because the ear ear muffs like they go around the ear and they really nicely conform it’s difficult to hear anything like externally around me which is great when i just want to get lost in music talking about call quality i don’t use this a lot for call quality mostly for music listening but i did test it and the other party did report that the audio was clear so the microphone is working well and when i was hearing them speaking it was also very clear all right so i’ve been
A Minor Complaint
saying a ton of great things about these headphones and it really does deserve them but there’s one small annoyance that i have which is this if you’re listening to music and you crank it to 100 volume the audio cuts out just for a second to say maximum volume and then the music resumes so if you’re like me and you like to just damage your hearing without any warning then you might find that annoying too but if you’re a normal person you don’t listen to that max then that’s never going to be a concern for you now these are also rated for

10 meters or 33 feet of range and i actually tested it up to 40 feet and i had no interruptions no audio signal issues no cutouts all right let’s talk
Battery Life
about battery life so these are rated for up to 50 to 55 hours of music or talk time now i haven’t timed this like to play 50 hours and see what the battery life comes out at what i can say though is i listen to my music pretty loud like 90 to 100 volume and i can get through a whole week without having to recharge so like battery life you’re not gonna have a problem with
My Thoughts
these okay video is not a brand i’ve ever heard of so i was really surprised at the sound quality coming out of these and it’s not always just a treat when you find like a gem of a product that doesn’t cost a lot because i mean why pay more than you have to if you’re like me consider liking and subscribing because i’m always on the hunt for these hidden gems of products i highly recommend these headphones i was really surprised that the sound quality for the price under 25 dollars i don’t think you’re gonna find better sound for under 25 plus consider it has usb type c charging and bluetooth 5.1 amazing battery life if you’re interested in picking these up i’m going to leave a link in the description below i got black but they also have a blue and a pink version and the pink actually looks pretty sharp i think now if you do end up getting these let me know what you think was it a great recommendation am i off the mark i really think a lot of you are going to be really happy with the sound quality coming out of these for the price like really i’ve tried a bunch of other ones and i don’t think you can go wrong with these i also did another review on the philips upbeat bluetooth on-ear headphones you can click here to see that but honestly like these are just so good so much better than that maybe don’t even bother
