Package Contents
package, we have the MagBback Classic case, desk sticker, Maxic accessory, cleaning wipes, cleaning cloth. There’s also an included screen protector in the box, and the box actually functions as the applicator guide, which I’ll show later. You can also get the classic case in blue, purple, or red. Design
classic case comes in at between 54 to 55 g. Now, on the rear, we have a huge cutout for the camera lens and camera plateau. We also have the magback writing and logo emblem debossed into the back. Looking at the side, we have a button cover for the power button and also a button cover for the capacitive camera button. And I’ll demo that working as well. We also have button covers on the other side for volume up, volume down, and the ringer button. At the very bottom, we actually have cutouts in the corner here to run a lanyard loop. And we also have cutouts for the speaker grill and USBC charging port. There’s a soft microfiber lining that feels really nice to the touch. And this is going to prevent the rear of the phone from getting scratched. And we also have air pocket corners as well.
We also have thick bezels on the front of the case that wrap around to keep the phone nicely retained in the case. And if I’ve squeezed the frame, you could see there’s very minimal play. So, this is going to keep your phone nice and secure. The buttons are also covered on the inside of the case to prevent scratching to your phone’s frame. There’s also very powerful N52 magnets on here for max safe charging and Maxave accessory use. Of course, all of the other case colors share the exact same design attributes aside from the color.
Edgeless Screen Protector
Before installing the MagBack Classic case, the first thing we’re going to do is to install the edgeless screen protector that comes in the box. First, place the phone camera side down in the box. Use the cleaning wipes to clean the screen off and then dry it and use the dust sticker to remove all dust. Next, close the box with the pull tab sticking out. Then just pull on the pull tab until it completely exits the box and you’re done. The edgeless screen protector is now perfectly installed on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. You can see we have a precise cutout for that front speaker grill and it basically goes edge to edge all around the screen for maximum protection. With the edgeless screen protector applied, the display is still very bright, very vivid, and very touch responsive.

raised edgeless screen protector on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, installation is still a breeze. So, we’ll just start at the very top, pop it in at the very corners and at the bottom, and we’re done. This
Hand Feel
is what the MagBback Classic case looks like on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. And this just looks so sharp and vibrant in red. And the hand feel is actually really nice on this, too. So, you can see even though it adds a little bit of thickness to the phone, I can still easily go ahead and just kind of, you know, rotate that, flip it around, manipulate it. Zero issues at all. Even though the case has a matte type of finish, it’s still fairly grippy due to the material. So, you can see if I run my thumb along here, it kind of gets stuck a little bit, it doesn’t just glide really easily because of that matte type of finish on here.
Now, if I go ahead and do a kind of, you know, fingerprint smudge test on the front screen here, you can see that it does leave a little bit of smudges, but it’s really not a lot. So, even the edgeless screen protector is doing a good job kind of resisting that because on other phones, it’s very apparent. And if I do the same thing on the back here, just kind of a smudge test. Just looking at this from different angles, I’m really not seeing much in the way of smudges or oils. Because of the
Post-Install Thoughts
excellent fitment of the edgeless screen protector and the phone case, the front speaker grill is completely unobstructed. Note that the front bezels actually wrap or curve around a little onto the edgeless screen protector all the way throughout the phone to ensure that the phone is securely retained in there if you were to ever drop it. So, you have full coverage all the way around. Even with the thick front liper bezel, it’s no problem just kind of swiping up or navigating around. The cutouts are also precise, leaving the USBC port and speaker grill unobstructed. All of the buttons also remain very tactile and responsive. The capacitive touch button also remains very responsive.
So, as I go ahead and drag my finger here, you can see I can easily switch between all of the different focal lengths without any issue. The touch capacitive button is recessed into the side of the frame just to prevent any accidental taps. The rear camera lip or bezel also extends high enough to protect the camera lens anytime the phone is placed camera side down. Let’s do a wobble test. So, camera

side down. And if I tap front, bottom, side to side, you can see there’s very minimal wobble at all. Fairly well controlled.
Protection
I dropped my phone from a height of around 3 and 1/2 ft. There was zero damage to the screen or the rear camera lens. Now, this is actually rated for up to six feet of drop protection. That’s to the very thick front and rear raised bezels protecting the camera lens and screen, the edgeless screen protector, and of course, the air pocket corners. So, yeah, you basically have allound protection if you drop your phone or from just daily nicks and scratches thanks to the edgeless screen protector.
Magsafe Charging & Accessories
You also have full functionality when using Macsafe charging or Macsafe accessories like Magax wallet or a power bank. And the hole is super strong and secure thanks to the N52 magnets. It won’t go anywhere. By the way, if you use MacBax wallet, it actually does double duty as a horizontal and vertical kickstand. And it actually does triple duty by acting as a ring holder for your

phone. You can also use the supplied Mac stick accessory with the 3M tape. Now, I applied mine to my door and I was able to mount the Magba plastic case vertically, horizontally, or even upside
Magnetic Mounting
down. When it comes to magnetic mounting, you can easily mount the phone horizontally without issue. But if you try to mount it vertically, due to the raised camera bump, it will slide since it won’t sit flush against metallic surfaces. So, either you’ll have to use the Max Stick accessory like I showed on my door, or you’ll have to look at the Magack Elite case, which has a unique telescoping magnets to allow for flush vertical mounting.
