hey it’s adrian and today i’m reviewing this uh cell phone tripod with a holder so if you’re looking for you know a really affordable um budget option i’m actually surprised at how well this works i ordered this from amazon it came out to um under 20 canadian which is like really amazing for what you get so you get the base here and it is only a fixed position so once you extend the legs out um that’s it now from the bottom to the top of this ball head here it’s about five inches and then you have the actual holder for the cell phone which is screwed screwed in at the top here if you could see that with a quarter inch thread so in terms of the holder my phone is about three um three inches wide and this can accommodate a phone up to 20 sorry up to four inches so if you just rotate this top part here sort of my phone plugs in but if you rotate this part here you can see this lip um this lip here it just keeps going up and you can rotate it up to accommodate a phone that’s four inches so i wouldn’t go past that i would say that’s the max for you know still having everything secure let me just put that back and put this microphone back in so you also have the option of changing the orientation of the phone so you have a knob back here so if you rotate that um you could just swing the phone vertically now my mine is getting caught up here because i should put the phone higher up so let me do that right now since it’s quite easy to make adjustments i’m just going to slide that up put the microphone back and there you go then you just tighten it at the back here and now you have the phone set up um vertically so it’s like really a great system like i’m just surprised at how well built and easy everything is and you can see when i close the legs if i shake the phone you might see the the microphone shaking a bit because of the the shock mount but otherwise the phone um that’s that’s really it’s really sturdy really secure obviously you know it’s not gonna be great if it’s you know you’re walking or running or stuff like that because there’s no stabilization or anything like that but this is a quite a good unit for the price the other thing is in terms of adjusting this ball head which is adjustable some are fixed you just press in this button here just easier that way and then you can rotate this wherever you want then you let go and it’s it’s locked to that position super quick and simple system let me just put that back so i think i’m gonna actually be using this just when i’m typing on the computer or you know in bed and i’m watching something instead of holding the phone i can just you know swap this into that um uh vertical orientation that i was saying and then you know just lazy just watch uh netflix or amazon prime or whatever so this is a great um great unit for the price like i said under 20 canadian so totally worth it if you’re looking for something like this definitely check it out i think this company does also sell a microphone unit that can go at the top here but i didn’t get that because you know i have a ton of microphones laying around you can see here that’s the slot to put in your cold shoe microphone and then tighten it down so yeah it does come with a microphone as well if you order the company’s microphone but just using any other microphone you’re laying around it’s gonna work good so um highly recommend if you’re looking something like this alright see in the next video you
