hey it’s Adrien and if you’re looking to enhance your home’s lighting whether it be for security to celebrate holidays or just for plain fun you’re going to want to check out Yu’s brand new indoor and outdoor AI powered lights you can easily deck out your home’s EES using the yui permanent outdoor lights e22 you can also decorate your pathway or walkway using the yui outdoor pathway lights e110 and the outdoor spotlights e110 as well and add Ambience to your backyard by using the yui outdoor string lights E10 and your living room using the UI indoor floor lamp e110 as well all of the lights get super bright thanks to the triple led setup with RGB ww giving you full RGB color Warm White and cool white so you can go from temperature ranges of 1500k all the way to 9,000 K so you could match any existing lighting and you can customize the lights even further using all of the AI features through the Yu Life app so let’s take a closer look at how well they perform how bright they get how well the AI features work in the U Life app and just how much customiz ability you could add to your homeless lighting and a big thanks to yui for sending these out for review

let’s do a quick run through of everything that comes in the Box for each of the different sets of Lights in
eufy E22 Box Contents
the Box for the yui permanent outdoor lights e22 I have three of the brand new LED light bundles now I have the 100 ft capacity box so you may have more or less depending on the length you go with and there’s also 15 replacement 3M stickers if needed there’s also a quick start guide and 63 screws and anchors if you want to you know kind of for ify or reinforce certain areas of the instulation we also have an extension cable the control module power adapter and positioning guide so you have everything you need to get started the
E22 Design & Install
power adapter has an IP67 rating and then we also have some areas here where you can mount it to a wall or some other surface and it does mention to use a GFCI receptacle that has an enclosure just to help with the waterproofing now you can see if I go ahead and remove this it has a nice seal and then we do have this kind of silicone or rubberized area here to prevent water moisture or leak it so it’s very well sealed from the power adapter the cabling runs and connects to the UI control module or control chip and then this wiring runs and connects to the LED lights now if we take a look at the flip side of the uh control chip or control module here it mentions that the lights are ip65 looking at the individual LED housing so this is yui’s brand new triple led setup so this is our gbww so we have traditional RGB colors and then we have warm white and cool white and together these combined to you know output as much as 90 to 91 lumens which is about 30 lumens higher than on the previous e120 model now this is what it looks like from the side so you can see it’s a domed uh type of shape here and it has kind of a matte type of look and I believe they’ve done that to kind of have you know even diffuse lighting and then we also have a little uh connector here where you could screw screw this in if you don’t want to use the um pre-applied 3M tape or if you just want to give further reinforcement say your uh summer windy yui recommends connecting All of the Lights together to the control module to the power adapter and then to the wall so I’m just going to plug it in right now make sure we’re all good before I go ahead to the next step and I can see all of the lights
eufyLife App Setup
coming online let me walk you through adding the yui permanent outdoor lights e22 to the yui life app once you do that it’s exactly the same process for the rest of the lights it’s very simple I’m now going to add the e22 lights to the UI Life app so I’ll click on ADD device click on Smart light and I’ve already connected everything so I’ll click next now it say to press and hold the button on the control unit till the LEDs flash three times which they do and it’s scanning for Bluetooth devices so it found it quickly I’ll go ahead tap on that so yeah just make sure Bluetooth is on on your phone when you start this process I’m going to put these in my front yard and yeah on the eaves and I’ll leave the default name now you could use Bluetooth control or Wi-Fi I’m going to pick Wi-Fi so I could kind of control these if when I’m not at home and I’ll click on connect now it says pick a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network so make sure you’re picking 2.4 if you don’t know how to do that you’ll have to split your Wi-Fi band most likely but I’ll just put in the password all right my password’s in so I’ll click next and my router is actually on on the floor above but I think that’s going to be fine and it says Wi-Fi connected successfully so I’ll click on done and there’s a firmware update I’ll just go ahead and do that the lights are now added in the Yu Life app now to install the lights you can actually follow along the instructions by going into the full settings here into General and mounting guide and it just gives you some tips you know to help you so it does say make sure you’re near a wall socket and it does come with an extension cable like I showed earlier clean the surface off first before you start installing you could use the positioning card to keep the lights about 2 to 4 in away from the wall surface remove any protective peels from the front if there are any and then remove the adhesive backing peel uh if you’re going to be using the 3M tape or you can also go ahead and screw it in you know if it’s going to be kind of hanging down or somewhere in a windy
E10 Pathway Lights Design & Install
area in the Box for the yui outdoor pathway lights e110 we have four of the pathway lights with the connecting wiring that will interface with these connectors right here there’s also a wall plug along with a control unit or module and these Stakes that will attach to the bottom of the lights to go into the ground the e110 outdoor Pathway lights look really nice so it’s this type of uh Metal finish I believe it’s aluminum it’s very cold to the touch and then we have this math type of area here to give you kind of diffuse or evenly spread lighting and then another metal section here with with another diffuse area at the top so this will look really nice when plugged in at the very bottom we have a mounting thread here and this is where we’re going to connect the ground steak here and then once you do that you’re just going to um just insert this into the ground and that’s it for the installation so it’s going to be pretty simple and straightforward and of course we also have the connector cable and you could see it’s a four pin and that is going to actually interface with the connector on the uh pretty long wiring
E10 Spotlight Design & Install
here in the box we have two of the yui outdoor spotlight e110 units along with a protective covering on the Stak portion now there are also extension rods that you could use to increase the height on these there’s the control unit or control module quick start guide and then the wiring to connect the lights to a wall socket the outdoor spotlight e110 has a pretty much all metal build at the top it’s cool to the touch so I think it’s this type of aluminum uh build as well and this is what the front looks like and again we have that same triple led setup like with all of the other lights now there is a tightening knob here and you can adjust the angulation all the way up here that’s about as far back as I can go and then all the way down so you have a lot of adjustability there and then we have the steak portion which feels like a hard plastic type of material now you can also unfasten this and you can see as I do that it shows this kind of uh thread mounter and this is where you could use the optional uh extension rods or extension tubes here and the lights have an ip65 rating and these can output up to an impressive 500 lumens now to install you can actually go into the app jump into General mounting guide and follow along the steps here but basically you’re going to connect all of the wiring to the UI control chip hit next and it actually shows you how to you know kind of interface and match everything it’s pretty straightforward you’re going to plug it into a W socket then you’re just going to drive the steak into the ground you can also use the extensional extension um rods or
E10 String Lights Design & Install
tubes in the Box for the yui outdoor string lights e110 we have 30 different light bulbs now I’ve turned two of them up so you could see what they look like we also have the power adapter yui control modular control switch quick start guide screws if you want to go ahead and you know kind of anchor these more securely and then we also have some zip ties and this is what each of the bulbs look like so we have the YY logo on the side here and on the side you can see that there’s an area here where you could use the supply screws screw it in and then just hang the lights upside down very easy now this is a plastic build no worry about the shattering and it’s clear and see-through now on the inside where the triple led setup is this is a matte type of finish to help with you know kind of even light distribution and we have the same type of setup with the other lights the rgbww so full RGB Warm White and cool white so this is going to look really fantastic in terms terms of the specs so this is an ip65 rating and the temperature is from -20 C to 40° C or4 F to 104° F installing the lights is really simple you have a bunch of options so one is to use the supplied screws screwed into a wall or some type of surface thread the head through and then just have the lights kind of hang down you can also see there’s a built-in hook here so you could run any type of line or wiring that you like and then just have these kind of hang loosely and then you can also use these zip ties to thread them through the hook right here and then you know just kind of loop and close them up against another type of surface in the
E10 Floor Lamp Design & Install
Box for the UV indoor Flor lamp e110 we have the heavy metal base right here along with metal extension rods and the LED strip light there’s also the yui control module wall plug quick start guide installation manual screwdriver and screws installing the base is really simple so there’s a metal rod here and you can see that there’s already some channels and this is where you would just kind of slide it line it in just like so and if you take a look at the other side of it you have areas to install two screws and you’ll keep building this out till you reach the very top and this is what the top piece looks like you can see that the top is capped off letting you know this is the last piece that goes in once all the metal extensions are installed you’re just going to use this electrical connector and it only fits one way just like so and then we’re just going to thread the LED light strip all the way from the bottom to the top once you have
AI Generated Light Effects
your lights added to the Yu Life app and you go into the settings the first screen you’re going to see is the AI screen and there’s a magic dice option now if you tap on that it’s going to kind of generate a whole bunch of different type of inspired light effects you could tap on any of those see how well you like them and if you like any of them you could tap to save that so you can always have that to go back to you can also go into the AI chat option and under the AI chat option you can give it your own custom prompt let it know what kind of colors you’re looking for the light effects and then just go ahead and hit generate and it’s going to create you know custom light effects based on whatever your mood is so you never get bored if you switch over to
Ambient Light Effects
the ambient tab this is one of my favorite tabs so you have a bunch of pre-made lighting effects so you can cycle through between holiday seasons events emotions healing children weather now if you go under holiday and it is going to be Halloween very soon where I am you can see there’s a bunch of different Halloween effects you have Halloween one 2 and three you could see whichever one you like the most and then you could just go ahead and apply that now you can also cycle through the different types of seasons and if you have an event like a birthday or a barbecue the options on here are really just endless in terms of the light effects the speed the different colors you really will not get bored with these
Daily Light Effects
and under the daily tab this is where you you would go to just have kind of around thee lighting now this is actually good if you have you know Security in mind because these lights get so bright they really act as a great visual deter people would be silly to walk up your walkway or to just be kind of tampering around your house with all that light just kind of cascading on them and from here you can go ahead and switch between Warm White cool white or
Personal Light Effects
just white and if you’re a bit more creative you’re going to want to check out the personal tab under that tab you can customize the lights completely in every single way you could choose which color each individual light bead is whether it’s going to be you know full RGB Warm White cool white or anything in between you can also change the speed of the lights and the effect that’s applied to the lights you really have full control and if you were to buy a bunch of these lights and kind of arrange them in a grit pattern you can actually even have them spell out words if you needed
Schedule Light Effects
to if you jump into the schedule tab this is a tab that I use a lot you can see that I have a daily life type of setting and in if I go into customize I also have a bunch of other effects like daily 40 daily 20 and what these are is if I want the brightness you know say at 40% every day or 20% I could just jump into one of these and I can actually group All of the Lights together and then whenever I make a brightness change it just takes place across all of the lights since they’re all grouped together but you do have the option to set the lights you know kind of individually or um by themselves if you don’t want to kind of just group them up and all of the the other lights have the exact same functionality that I showed here in terms of the AI functionality and setting them in a daily schedule you can group them up so they all come on at the same time or turn off or they’re all at the same brightness or you can individualize the settings as well and
Wondershine Tech
thanks to their wonders shine Tech where we have this triple led setup so we have the RGB ww the Lumen output on these is so bright and once I put these on my EES and I cranked it I could not believe just how much light was being outputed and just cascading down around my entire home and if you take a look at my neighbor’s home on the left side of my house you could see the Stark difference with having these lights on and then just having a house with nothing on it at all it’s a big difference and a huge deterrent for anyone who’s looking to break into a home so if that’s something you’re worried about definitely check out these lights you know it’s way less expensive than installing pot lights and you can just do these in a couple of hours and you just have full control and peace of mind another thing that I noticed is when I’m in my bedroom sleeping since the Eve is kind of just outside the window you know I get a nice little bit of glow coming into my room so even if you have a child who’s kind of scared of the dark putting these around their room window is also an
Outdoor String Lights E10 Lighting
awesome option the yui outdoor string lights e110 are great for adding light and Ambience to your backyard even to the front or even indoors so my backyard before looked just so dull there’s no type of you know plants or anything going on back there just a bunch of wood and a fence and this really brightened it up and you know I can kind of add like a little bit of a light sh really does make it you know a bit more exciting to be there now you can go from, 1500k to 9000k with these and you have that triple RGB ww type of setup for all types of RGB effects there’s also a matte finish so that the lighting on here is nice soft and glowy when it’s on and you have an ip65 waterproof rating and these are also UV resistant as well so they could stay out all year
Outdoor Pathway Lights E10 Lighting
long the yui outdoor pathway lights e110 look so professional once you have these installed in a straight line and I’m so happy they designed it with two light sections instead of one just big light section it just looks so much better you have up to 350 lumens of light output that same triple led RGB ww output for even lighting thanks to the math type of finish an ip65 rating so you can use this in hot or cold temperatures and an aluminum build for long-term use and
Outdoor Spotlights E10 Lighting
durability the yui outdoor spotlights e110 also have great durability using engine grade aluminum so they’re able to resist corrosion rust and wear you have up to 500 lumens of light output at that same RGB ww triple led type of setup so these get very bright and also an ip65 rating I love using these to illuminate my doorway and my vehicles to kind of deter any wouldbe Intruders or lurkers
Indoor Floor Lamp E10 Lighting
the yui indoor floor lamp e110 also looks great sitting next to my TV so I angled it so it’s kind of bouncing the light off off the wall so it’s not direct light coming to my eyes and it’s such a nice soft and pleasing glow and it has up to an impressive 130° illumination range so you can keep this like really close up to your wall or you can kind of back it a little bit more away depending on your preference and this gets super bright the max brightness is up to 1,700 lumens if you
Permanent Outdoor Lights E10 vs E120
have it in certain lighting modes and if you’re wondering what the difference between the brand new yui permanent outdoor lights e22 is and the previous model the e120 well with the previous model you couldn’t change the color temperature from 1500k to 9000k it was locked in at 3,000k so you couldn’t actually match the color temperature to any of your home’s existing lighting the other thing is that these are about 30 lumens brighter at around 91 lumens versus the 60 lumens on the previous e120 model and trust me you can really tell that these get very very bright there’s also a better IP rating for the power adapter so you can actually have this left outside of your instead of having to run it into your home like
