hey guys it’s Adrian and today I just wanted to talk about my experience using these PlayStation dual sense controller skins now these were sent to me by a company called play Vital I’ve never heard of them and it’s something that I’ve been meaning to pick up for myself I mean I’ve been on Amazon there’s a ton of options for controller skins I’ve just never got around to it so you know I was pretty happy when they offered to send this out for me to review and I really did want to take my time and you know really play with it to see if it actually made a difference or not so I really do like them since I’ve installed it on my white controller it’s just been living there and you can see it comes in a bunch of keycaps there so this is the design that I have right now I find that it offers you know good grip ability on the thumbs without actually hurting them so I previously had this design here with these kind of like four nodules at the top I wasn’t really a fan of that it kind of hurt when I pressed down and then there’s also this one here with a bunch of natural feels kind of like a spiral pattern I tried that it wasn’t really a fan of that but this one I think it’s like their Samurai one or something like that but this is the one that I’ve settled on now you can see they have a bunch of skins and stupidly I asked for two white skins I should ask for something red for my red controller you can see this one is kind of like a full wrap and it goes all the way around the controller only this top part here obviously the charging port and then the touchpad is left exposed and then of course the microphone Port but otherwise I mean it’s a very tight fit slim fit you could see if I kind of like Creak or twist it I can pull some of it away but I mean playing day to day it’s not really an issue you have to really be torquing it kind of twisting it to get it out of the way but yeah this has been great so far now I did start with this one before I settled on this one now this one you can see is two separate units or two separate pieces and they just slide over on top of the controller so the entire middle portion is left exposed now it’s not a bad design I mean this offers a lot of grip ability it’s great the issue with this design is that you can see it’s not sitting flush now if I rotate it I can kind of like angle it in here but you know it doesn’t stay like over time it just comes right back up yeah so this is the one that I’ve settled on just because you know it offers a lot of grip and my hands don’t get really sweaty you can see there’s a lot of grooves and you know textures are because there’s grooves when you’re using it your hand’s not sitting flush against the plastic of you know the controller without the skin on so you know there’s room in there so that you know there’s some air so your hand doesn’t get damp so this has been excellent so far now putting the case on is really easy that’s straightforward putting the joystick covers on it’s a little bit more annoying but here’s a tip that I figured out you know if you do get these and I guess this would apply to any type of controller stick that you get or joystick just peel it all the way back like that then just drop it right in the middle and then flip it down and you can see that’s you know snuggly snugly in place that’s not going anywhere so yeah guys um I can highly recommend these like I said you know I really put in about two to three months of use with these and you know there’s not really any discoloration any areas of wear or any problems with it it’s a solid skin um like I said there’s a ton of options on Amazon but I’ve personally used this and I can recommend it so if you’re interested in picking it up I’m gonna leave some links in the description down below they do have skins for PlayStation 5 and Playstation 4 I mean there’s a ton of different color options and um grips and stuff like that so check them out for yourself and I’ll see in the next one
