Unboxing
hey it’s adrian and today i just wanted to take like a quick first look and unbox of the samsung galaxy s22 ultra so i got it in the white the 512 gigabyte version so i did order this on launch date which was february 9th and it finally came in today so it took about two weeks to come in and i just want to do a quick look until i can do a full review of the phone so it’s a pretty pretty sizable phone see quite large and i’m coming from a five-year-old sony xperia xz premium so you can see it’s a pretty pretty massive side difference and you can see the bezels are well from five years ago so i’m expecting a pretty big um jump in performance now i am going to be

doing a full review in about a week or so after i put my sim card in and i’ve had a chance to play around with the phone and test out the camera in terms of you know daytime performance nighttime performance you know photo and video battery life and just general usability stuff you know in terms of the screen how fluid the phone is and all that other good stuff so if that’s something you’re interested in please consider liking and subscribing or following me
Design
it is a really beautiful looking phone in the phantom white and it’s really easy to hold in the hand i don’t have the biggest type of hand but it’s easy for me to just you know maneuver and rotate in place so really easy the camera modules look really nice like the black the way it contrasts against the white that looks really sharp and you can see it does have a slight curvature as it tapers off at the end there hopefully you can see that and where it wraps around you can see the white kind of just edges in very slightly right there buttons are really nice and polished at the bottom of the phone it has this type of matte finish here so it’s not exactly 100 reflective except for the stylus which is going to be pretty handy to use when you’re taking notes so that just pops in and out and you could just rotate it
Design
pop it back in so that’s omnidirectional pretty pretty nice looking phone on this side there’s nothing going on here and here of course are those buttons again so it’s a really sharp looking phone um really nice really nice with the camera modules i’m really happy with with how that looks instead of having a huge um raised bump there in terms of using the phone and hand feel it feels really good in the hand even though it is a more sizable phone it has a decent weight to it but it doesn’t feel too top-heavy you know the fingerprint reader is down here so even though i would be in this area the phone doesn’t feel like it would have a tendency to you know just drop out of the hand so it’s pretty well balanced as well now i am really happy with the design of this phone i wasn’t too happy with some of samsung’s previous designs but i like this type of rectangular shape and the edges um they’re not too soft like it’s pretty kind of sharp there and this is similar to the phone i’m coming from where it also has that type of sharp edge at the corner so i am a fan of that look and this phone definitely has that type of look and feel in the hand please consider liking and
