Design
Now it’s a fairly slim looking case looking at a side profile.
I have the back version, but it also comes in a bunch of other beautiful colors as well I’ll be pairing it with the iPhone 18 Pro Max, but it’s also compatible with the iPhone 17 Pro Max as well Now starting with a back view, so we have a large cutout for the various camera lens the flash and the lighter And we have this kind of semi-frossed matte type of finish which has pretty good grip We also have various printed elements around her and as I run my finger along them I can actually feel the texture there There’s also a built in 360 degree rotatable kick stand So I’ll just go ahead pull that out and it does have good hinge resistance You know if I just put it in any other type of regulation it stays you know nicely in place Now once that’s out you can actually rotate it into four increments So we do have hard stops so you can actually use this bolt for horizontal and vertical view So you have a ton of regulation range and then when you’re done using it just snap it back into place And it’s those away nice and flush and looking at a side view of that rear camera protective lip You could see that it extends about 0.8 millimeters high The case also has powerful magnets for up to 18 newtons of magnetic holding force on the right side We have a protective button cover and you can actually swap this out for the other color to came in a case We also have this dot matrix textured raised strip here that adds texture You can see if I do a side view you can see it actually sticking out a little bit from the case So it greatly enhances grip on this case.
There’s also a cover for the capacitive touch control button and on the other side We have additional protective buttons along with that raised texture dot matrix design and note that the other side of the button covers Have a nice and smooth finish to prevent any type of scratching to your iPhone’s frame the case also uses their air protect true air back Protection so you can see it starts on the corner here wraps all the way around the top and ends at the other corner here And then if I do a bottom view, it also runs here and continues over here as well The bottom of the case has cutouts for both speaker grills and the USB type C port The front of the case has a protective lip or bezel that’s about 0.8 millimeters high and note that it actually wraps around or curves around slightly To help retain the iPhone 18 Pro Max in the case and the inside of the case has a smooth finish and everything is nicely Recessed again to ensure that the frame of your iPhone remains undamaged
Case Install
I’ll now install the iPhone 18 Pro Max into the Q3 Aircase So I’ll just start on the top corner here pressing on the sides and just like that. I’m done Installing the case is really quick and the hand feel actually feels really good on here.
It doesn’t feel too bulky It’s also not super slum either, but it’s very manageable just kind of one-handed Looks wise this is a beautiful looking case on the iPhone 18 Pro Max Especially in the silver color and because we have these semi-transparent back here You can see a little bit of the phone’s color coming through The overall fitment of the case is really precise everything is nicely fitted and if I look at the bottom view We have precise cutouts for both of the speaker grills and a USB type C port The front protective lip rises high enough around the entire front frame of the phone so that if you Replace the screen side down there’s no chance of getting damaged The front speaker grills is completely unobstructed and looking at a back view so because we have the large cutout for all of the rear lens You actually may be able to run a lens protector now looking at a side view you could see that that raised Protective lip or bezel does rise a little bit higher than actual lens both of the volume buttons and the side action button Remain completely responsive same with the power button and the touch capacity camera control button as well
Protection
Now let’s talk about protection and because the Q3 AirCase is using their airpro tech which features their true airback Protection you actually get drop protection rated for up to 13 feet or about four meters I drop the iPhone 18 Pro Max both screen side down and camera side down and there is zero damage to either the screen or the lens That’s again thanks to the raised protective bezels or lips on the front and the back and the airpro tech true airback Protection it wraps around the top and bottom of the case and when I apply pressure to the airback Sections of the case that actually has a little bit of gift so that’s gonna help with absorbing shocks or impacts anytime you drop the phone and With all of those protective features combined the Q3 AirCase actually exceeds the MIL STD 810 G51 6.6 military standards the 360 degree rotating kicks and also gives a
360 Kickstand
Tentiversitility because you could use it both for horizontal or vertical hands for reviewing and notice how stable it is even when I Bang on the table or not to the phone it doesn’t buckle or fall over because as excellent hindrises since and damping and A really cool if you try and hear as you can actually Angulate your phone a full 90 degrees to prevent those kind of unflaudering low profile shock and actually have the phone standing Uprided 90 degrees to take a couple time lapse videos, which is really cool you can even use the stand as a ring holder For really long calls or scrolling sessions and to prevent you from dropping it on your face any time you’re laying down
MagSafe Charging & Accessories
But thanks to that really strong magnets you get a super secure hold when using maxifraul is charging and you can even use Qiwaraul is charging as well you can also use maxif excessories like a maxif wallet or a maxif power bank and note that once I attach As maxif power bank even though I’m kind of shaking it really aggressively.
It’s not detaching from the phone now the small Core I mentioned at the start of the video is due to the strong hold whenever you detach a maxif accessory It has a tendency to lift the kickstand out or detach it from the phone until it snaps back into place nicely Retained and flush now the work around to minimize that is to just detach your maxif accessory from the bottom up So anytime you’re detaching just hold a maxif accessory at the bottom and lift upwards instead of lifting up and away just something to be mindful of
Magnetic Mounting?
If you’re thinking about magnetically mounting the case it actually is possible Depending on the metallic surface So I was actually able to mount this on a few surfaces now on some surfaces at what’s slip a little if it was kind of like an alloy material But for the most part it helped you can actually magnetically mount the phone vertically by Angulating the kickstand which is really neat and if you hate cases that wobble there is zero wobble when you’re using the phone either horizontally or vertically

This is what it looks like with the metallic matte type of button covers and it actually looks really nice on this case It’s really well overall if you’d like additional protection
TORRAS HD Shield Screen Protector
You could use torus as HD shields screen protector which I’ll install now in the box for the torus HD shield screen protector You get an applicator guide along with a pre installed screen protector you also get an additional screen protector and two installation kits Each kit includes dust stickers a cleaning cloth drawing cloth and user manual And there’s also a scraper as well and to install the torus HD shield screen protector go ahead and wipe your phone screen down with the included What why then use the drawing cloth to try it off if you notice any dust use the dust sticker once you’re done Place the installation guide or applicator guide over your phone making sure that the top stays at the top of the phone Then go ahead press it down on the sides.
Don’t hold the top or the bottom and then pull the pull tab until it fully comes out Wait for the air to be expelled out and then just lift the applicator guide up and off of the phone if you notice any Air bubbles just use the included scraper to gently massage those out and you’re done The torus HD shield screen protector is now perfectly applied to the iPhone 18 Pro Max And you can see we have edge to edge coverage and the front speaker grill is completely unattracted And here’s a side-by-side comparison with the screen protector on or off so you could see with the screen protector on face-unlock Still works perfectly fine same with the response of touch controls and the colors and clarity are still fantastic on here This is actually one of the better screen protectors that I’ve used it doesn’t seem to have taken any type of hit to the original display at all
