hey itās Adrian and you just got your brand new s24 ultr you need a clear case for it while I have a bunch of clear cases some standard and some with Max safe charging so letās take a closer look and see if any of these are worth it for you so the first case I want to
Ringke Matte Case
look at is this rinka case and this is usually the case I have on all of my phones so this is what the rinka case looks like on the s24 ultra and you can see we have individual cutouts for the camera lens which is what I prefer now if we take a look at the front you can see that the plastic doesnāt actually you know encroach tooo much on the phone screen so you know itās a pretty sleek and well-fitted case at the top we have full access to the ports there and again same with the Spen easy to just grab access to that so everything is pretty much unobstructed except the SIM card Port which is what we want anyway we have a lanyard uh hole right there and then you know textured buttons for the volume and the power everything is still quite tactile and we also have another uh lanyard Port we also have protective bumpers on the corners of the case and a little bit of a raised lip on the different Corners so the phone is not just sitting flat on whatever surface you put it on and if we take a look at the front you can see we do have a slightly raised lip so itās higher than the glass and thatās on the top and at the bottom so that when you put the phone down you know the glass is going to remain protected and youāre not going to be touching or hitting anything on a table another thing that I like to test this so just put the phone on a flat surface and press the corners so you can see if I press the top right corner here there is a little bit of wobble if you were going to you know use this for gaming or to write something to be mindful of but very manageable compared to other cases that Iāve used now if youāre worried about yellowing on this case well this is the same rinka case on my s23 ultra and it definitely has become yellowed and changed color you know in about the year that Iāve owned this so so I havenāt really found a case thatās you know impervious to yellowing something to be mindful of and that is the rinka matte case for the s24 ultra hereās another
SQM Wallet Case
jelly case so this one again flexible but we do have a pocket in the back here if you want to carry credit cards or a little bit of cash letās see how well it does so the case is on and it actually looks fairly nice so we have a huge camera cut out here and if I angle that you could see that that protrudes a good amount to protect the camera lens but this is not whatās going to be doing most of the work protecting the camera lens itās actually this huge pocketer because whenever you put this down itās going to just Elevate this entire back portion off of any surface and you know not really any rocking unless you go to the top and you press really hard so this is actually quite an impressive case so far now taking a look at the card pocket I have about five cards in here you can see here you know five different cards and if I go ahead and just you know line those up I can easily snap it down now one thing I noticed is yeah you kind of have to line the cards up nicely and it snaps in and we do have you know two little plastic teeth here and these are what you know clip in to keep everything held in place and even with five cards you know theyāre not shifting around it does seem like a fairly good system Iām just not sure of the long-term use of these plastic teeth how well theyāll hold up but for now pretty good and the hinge is smooth you know you can hear that but thereās no actual creaking or anything anything like that and definitely if I you know remove one of the cards from here this would be a much smoother process opening and closing now taking a look at the side we have this textured area for easy grip ability and then we also have you know these thickened air pockets here you know really nice touch itās actually a nice looking case Iām actually surprised by looking at the bottom full access to the Spen you know very easily I like that they have the full cutout no mesh or anything like that for the speaker Grill full access to the Char charging port on the other side we have textured buttons here and again you know those donāt stick out too much actually and we do have this red area ribed area here for easier grip ability and looking at the top we have two separate cutouts so yeah all in all a really nice case now looking at the front we have a lip that runs all the way down so thatās going to offer protection front and bottom and then looking at the side again yeah the lip comes up just a little bit but not as much as the top and bottom but again still you know very safe very planted not a lot of rocking so yeah this is actually a very nice case um maybe I would have wish that this could be in matte versus the clear plastic but yeah um definitely a contender for one of the cases that I actually choose to use I have two clear
Speck Presidio Clear Case
cases that were sent to me by spec so one is their prido perfect clear case and one is their precidio Lux case which has this glittering type of effect so right away Iām noticing that this is a very high quality thick type of plastic so listen to this you can see that thereās not you know much Flex on here at all itās a very hard cover case but itās not like the super hard one thatās going to shatter and looking at the Lux case again same type of deal the only difference is it has this shimmering glitter effect so looking at the case on here now there is a big enough lip raised around here to protect the camera lens now theyāve went with the option for a huge cutout not really a fan of that look I always like having the individual cutout it just looks you know a little bit more cleaner of a look and then we also have the spec logo up here now taking a closer look at the corners we do have a little bit of you know thick material on each corner here to help with absorbing you know Falls we do have those cushions right there looking at the top we have unobstructed access to the ports same thing at the bottom very easy to grab the S Pen as well as well looking at the side of the phone so we have textured buttons here and those are really easy to grip and if we take a side profile you can see they stick out a little bit more than on the other case like the rink case that I showed looking at the front you can see we do have a raised lip that runs all the way along the top and if I look at the bottom same thing we do have a rais lip there so anytime you put this down your screen is going to be properly protected and there is no type of rocking wherever you press on the case now if I do the same thing at the bottom a little bit of rocking opposite of where the camera bezels are but not too bad and once youāre at the bottom you know the rocking is gone itās only if youāre up here if I put my finger here you can see just how much more this plastic border extends out so itās a very protective case and it adds a little bit of size to the phone overall now this is the first case I show this is the wrinkle case if I line that up you can see how much more the spec case um protrudes out from the wrinkle case so yeah the wrinkle case is good if you just want you know kind of a glove feel to have some basic level of protection but this is obviously going to offer much more protection and be you know take more of a beating letās say and probably Iāll feel way more comfortable with this if it was to fall so the
Speck Presidio Lux Case
fitment of the prido Lux case is exactly the same as the prido clear case so we have a full cutout for the camera lens instead of you know individual cutout out but we do have this nice shimmering glitter effect which I really am a fan of and it does play nicely you know under the light now we do have the spec logo here again and same type of deal you know unobstructed access to all of the ports the S Pen and then also at the top we have a large cutout now if I angle that you can see just how deep that cutout is and thatās how thick the plastic is on here so this will definitely protect your phone and then same thing with the buttons on the side we again have you know textured buttons and a side view shows just how much those protrude out so they do protrude a little bit of way out and then on the other side we have the spec logo again but no lanyard cutouts and of course we do have a slightly raised lip around the camera lens cutout so that when you place it face down the camera lens are not going to come into contact with anything and again we do have that protruding lip at the very top and at the bottom of the phone case so that if you put your phone flat down on any type of surface the screen is going to be protected and just for a wobble test you can hear very minimal wobble so really not a problem at all cuz youāre never going to really have your phone like this anyway and just like with the predio clear case when the phone is placed screen up we have little bit of wobble here not really too bad and actually the wobble on here seems less noticeable on the pridal clear case so I would say if youāre looking at any of the spec cases you know go for the Luxe case it does look much nicer Anyway by the way if youāre finding this video upful please consider liking and subscribing it really does help me out but letās get
Dakorie Magsafe Case
back to it so this is a jelly case with a huge cutout and a Max safe element so letās see how that works this case is also very thick similar to the spec case you could see you know not too much flex and itās a harder type of plastic so itās going to offer pretty good protection and looking at the front you can see itās pretty much a square type of design itās not really rounded out too much so it actually fits the design of the s24 fairly well I feel you know with the boxy front screen it just goes really well okay first thing letās test the Mac safe charging on here so Iām just going to line this up and I can see that that is working now there is a bit of a problem with this case that Iām noticing so this Max safe power bank for example is quite large and once I line this up you can see that the actual camera cutout bezel is getting in the way so while it is still charging it canāt sit you know really flush of course itās extending out here so you know this is not going to just stay attached you kind of have to leave the phone you know upwards facing like this you can just grab this and hold it like that so something to be mindful of if youāre considering this case youāre going to need a pretty you know compact type of Max safe charger to fit on there this power bank style is not going to work but looking at the overall case design so the cutout on here is definitely nicer I believe then on the spec case itās a little bit more fitted but of course I would still like to have individual camera cutouts but not too bad and we do have you know a silver type of trim along with the cutout looks really sharp and then we have the Mac safe element and itās a completely clear case now taking a look at the top here so we have a huge cutout for the top two ports here and if I kind of angle that you can see just how thick that plastic is so you know it actually is sizeably thick you know fairly thick maybe not as thick as the spec Cas but you know fairly close looking a bit at the buttons so we do have separate buttons instead of you know one huge cutout for the volume rocker and the power button very tactile and those donāt protrude out too much like on the specc case now we also have the lanyard area here looking at the bottom full access to the USBC Port but the speaker Grill is actually you know it has this kind of perforated uh cutouts here versus you know a full opening this is definitely going to impact the sound quality coming out of here so you know if you are going to be using your phone speaker a lot versus earbuds or headphones you know maybe skip this case for that reason and you know very easy to grab the Spen on the other side you know we just have uh that itās for the s24 ultra nothing else and then of course we have those protective uh air pockets there to help with absorbing impacts little bit of a lip at the top here on the front and on the bottom as well and you can see that that lip actually carries around to the right and left side so yeah it offers a good amount of protection whenever you put this flat and if I do a rocking test you know very minimal quite manageable on here when the phone is placed screen up you can see we have very noticeable rocking on here and even at the bottom still a lot of rocking so something to be mindful of and again thatās due to this cutout and just you know the thickness of this bezel you can see if I do a closeup view of that you know this protrudes out you know quite a bit to protect those camera lens so yeah youāre going to have to live with that trade-off yeah overall a really nice looking case you know you are going to have to maybe hunt a bit to find a Max safe charger thatās going to you know fit in this tight type of space here so we have a second clear case or
BTF Magsafe Case
jelly case and you can see this one is much more flexible and softer than the previous one that I showed and again we do have a Max safe element but we have individual camera lens cutouts letās see how it does first things first letās try the max safe charger and it does charge and this this one actually has enough of a hold that I could hold it sideways or upside down so points there so first things first yeah I shouldnāt have gotten this purple one but I thought that was the color I was going to get now if we take a look we do have individual camera cutouts here which I like I just wish they didnāt have this big bezel going around I would have just like the individual rings of course we have the max save element here and itās a completely clear case now if I angle it a bit you can see there is a bit of a raised lip here to help protect the camera lens on the side we have individual buttons and those do not protrude out too much theyāre about in line with this protective bumper there at the top we have cutouts for the ports up there and then at the bottom you know the USB charging port microphone and the S Pen is still really easy to get access to however again the speaker Grill this is this perforated type of mesh and that is going to impact the sound quality by a little bit if you generally use the speaker on your phone versus earbuds or headphones and we do have a lanyard area on the corner there nothing on the other side and yeah itās this type of shiny finish but you know itās actually not too bad I donāt really notice you know it attracting too much fingerprints itās easy to wipe away now while the phone offers protection you can see we have this protective bumper area here and this front lip going around the top here and at the very bottom you know thereās one thing that I donāt like about here and thatās the fitment take a look at the bottom here you know this is really easy to pry down and because it is such a soft material you know itās hard to just grab on here and maintain its shape so you know probably a pass on this case as well and if the fitment doesnāt really bother you well hereās a rocking test so flat down little bit of rocking at the bottom not too bad itās only in the top corner and if itās placed face down like this no really no noticeable rocking at
NINKI Kickstand Case
all this phone case is from a company called ninki and if we take a look at it itās probably one of the nicer looking cases we have this kind of like Chrome or silver frame here and some nice uh bezels for the camera cutout so yeah we have individual lens cutouts here and it looks very sharp actually thereās also a kickstand here so this is probably the most useful case however because of these plastic elements on here you know Iām not really sure how long this would stand up but it does you know fold back up really compactly and it doesnāt protrude Too Much from the rest of the phone now this phone does have a problem with rocking because of these camera cutouts here so you can see if I put it down if I tap here no problem here no problem but once I get to the top here you know opposite of where the camera bezels are thereās major rocking so you know as long as youāre tapping down here no problem but once youāre up here anywhere then itās going to be a problem second thing to notice about this case it is a huge fingerprint magnet on the shiny element now on the front of the case you can see we do have a rais lip that goes around her so it does actually protect the screen same at the bottom you know there is a bit of a raise lip itās not the highest lip that Iāve seen but itāll still do the job looking at a top view you can see the ports are unobstructed but again you could see my fingerprints you know very easily on there and at the bottom we have easy access to the S Pen still and the speaker Grill is unobstructed same with the charging Port but again very you know major fingerprint magnet on here thereās also no protection for the volume button and power button as well due to this huge cutout and taking a look at the front view here you can see we have a little Gap in the corner here so yeah Iām not really happy with the fitment of this case at all and actually when I was putting it on it felt like it was scraping against the frame of the phone so I would do a hard pass on this case even though it looks quite nice so
