Intro
If you just picked up your new iPhone 18 Pro War Pro Max and you need solid all around protection with tons of versatility in your phone case, the MacBacClead Case does it all. The MacBacClead Case has extremely strong N52 strength magnets along you to magnetically mac-triffone with telescoping magnets both vertically or horizontally on metallic surfaces with a secure magnetic hole that doesn’t quit. Urite in full-maxed functionality and the ability to use mac-sifix accessories and even Qi wireless charging and NFC uses unaffected. Package Contents
In the box we have the Mac back elite Gen2 case, the maxi-ca accessory with pre-applied adhesive two alcohol cleaning pads and alcohol prep pad, drawing cloth, dust sticker, quick start guide and included edge-less screen protector and will be using the box everything came in to install the screen protector.
Edgeless Screen Protector Install
In installing the included edge-less screen protector is really simple so you’re going to place your iPhone camera side down into the box where it’s as place-phone here. Next use the alcohol cleaning wipe to thoroughly wipe the screen down, use the drying cloth and then if you see any dust use the included dust sticker as well. Next close the case making sure that the pull tab is sticking out, pull on the pull tab would even pressure until it completely comes out and you’re done. If you notice any lingering air bubbles just massage your mouth out.
Before & After Edgeless Screen Protector
And this is what the edge-less screen protector looks like in cell-on-the-i-phone 18 Pro Mac so we have edge-share edge coverage and the top speaker grill is completely unobstructed and if I do a side view you can see that it’s slightly extends just a bit. So if you were to place your phone screen side down it’s not going to get scratched. Here’s a side-by-side comparison before and after edge-less screen protector installation so face-on-lock works perfect if touch controls are still very responsive and the colors and clarity still look really good.
Design
The Mac back elite case Gen2 comes in at around 52 grams and it’s comfortable to the touch it also feels really premium as well. Now I have the burgundy or cherry type of color but it also comes in other colors as well. Now starting with the back view so we have a large camera lens cut-out and if I do a side view you can see that that bezel actually sticks out quite a bit to protect your lens. Now we also have two telescoping magnets which is really unique and cool on this case. There’s a built-in finger loop that you could use for kind of like long scrolling sessions and we also have a built-in kickstand as well.
Now if I do a side view you can see there’s a little indentation here so you can easily just go ahead pop this out and when you hear that click it’s locked into place and then anytime you’re ready to store it back away notice that we have some metallic magnetic buttons here so if I snap it down it snaps right into place and it remains nice and flush. The case also uses extremely strong N52 magnets for a really strong hole. Now on the right side this is where we have a metallic button cover and it has a matte type of finish which looks really good. You can actually swap this out as well.
You also have textured side grips and if I do a side view you can see that it actually sticks out a little bit so it does give additional grip and security with the case and we have a camera control cover that still lets you have responsive camera controls. Now on the other side we also have protective button covers there as well along with a longer textured side grip. Now on the underside of those buttons you can see that it’s actually padded to ensure that the frame of your phone doesn’t get scratched. On the bottom we have cutouts for both of the speaker grills and there’s also a USB Type-C port cover to prevent dust from building up. This also doubles as a pinky rest as well. There’s also two lanyard cutouts on the bottom right and left side.
And the inside has a soft microfiber lining to prevent any type of scratching to the back of your phone. There’s shock absorbing air pocket corners and the front of the phone has a raised bezel to protect your screen if you place the phone camera side down. To install the iPhone 18 Pro Max into the lead case I’ll start on the top so I’ll just
Case Install & Fitment
go ahead press it in on both corners and just run it along on the side applying even pressure and just like that. I’m done. And the Mac back-clet case in burgundy looks really sharp on the silver iPhone 18 Pro Max. You can see the color’s contrast really well and the fitment is really good overall. It feels really good in hand easy to just go ahead and manipulate this one handed. And note that the included at just screen protector was already on the iPhone before I applied the case and it went on no problems at all. And if we do a close-up view around where the front screen bezel’s meet the actual screen protector you can see that there’s no gaps so we really do have etched coverage.
And that raised protective front screen lip rises high enough so that if you were to place the phone screen side down even without the screen protector there’s no chance of it getting scratched. Both of the volume buttons and the side action button remain completely tacked out in response of same with the power button and the responsive camera control button as well. I can easily just quick-lodge it and swipe through no problems at all. The bottom cutouts for this speaker grill is also perfectly aligned and nothing’s obstructed same for the USB type support. And the rear protective lip or bezel rises high enough so that if you’re to place your iPhone camera side down there’s no chance of your lens is getting scratched.
Just good fitment overall and it actually feels really secure in the hand easy to operate one-handed thanks to those textured side grips and it looks sharp as well. The Macbaccade Gen 2 case is also rated
Protection
from the 6 feet of drop protection so I dropped the iPhone 18 Pro Max both screen side down and camera side down and there was no damage to either the screen or any of the lens. And that’s thanks to the thick rear protective camera lens bezel along with the front screen lip and the included edge of the screen protector and the shock absorbing corners just great everyday all around protection.
Magnetic Mounting
Now let’s talk about the magnetic mounting strength on this case which is something a lot of other cases just can’t match. So thanks to those really strong N52 strength magnets I was able to magnetically mount this to pretty much any type of metallic surface whether it was a fence and in a bunch of different orientations. I was able to mount the iPhone using just one of the telescoping magnets instead of having both of them making contact with the fence. I was able to do that with a circular post which is really hard and even though it didn’t make full contact it still held.
And notice when I bring this knife close to the telescoping magnets that it completely pops out and makes full coverage or contact with the knife but it can also make contact at various regulations as well giving you the strongest hold on various type of metallic surfaces. It’s so convenient being able to magnetically mount the phone with that strong of a hold for a hands reviewing so it could be on the fridge in my kitchen it could be on a microwave it could be on a pole at a bus stop really anything that I could think of and the best thing is that it just throws away nice and flush when you don’t need the telescoping magnet.
Magsafe Charging & Accessories
You get a super strong hold when using max A4A charging thanks to the strong N52 strength magnets and you can use cheat to 25 watt charging as well. You can also use max A6 accessories with that same strong hold whether it’s mag back smart wallet or this max A4A and you can see with the power bank attached I’m shaking it pretty aggressively and it’s not detaching from the phone.
