If you regularly take photos and videos using your phone, the Telles Master Grip for the S26 Ultra is one of the best accessories you can get right now. It comes with an S26 Ultra case that you can attach to the Telison Master Grip with a secure hold thanks to the ultra strong N52 magnets in the case and on the Master Grip. You can also attach MagSafe accessories such as the Tison RGB selfie ring light or even their magnetic flashlight, which also doubles as a remote trigger as well. You can attach your phone vertically, horizontally. You could even use the grip for horizontal or vertical viewing and to take stable time-lapse video. There’s a 3,200 mAh battery in the grip to keep your phone topped up with maxive charging.

And there’s also top-mounted button controls such as a two-stage mechanical shutter, zoom rocker mode dial, and more. You can slide in lens filters to the rear of the case with a strong magnetic hold, and it also doubles as a lens protector. And what if you have your own S26 Ultra case that you want to use with the grip? Can you do that? Well, let’s take a closer look and a big thanks to Telison for sending this out for review. In the box, we have

the Tison Master Grip along with a case, ND16 magnetic filter, a flashlight attachment, carrying pouch, wrist strap, manual, USB type-C to type-C charging cable, and large cleaning cloth. In the

the magnetic flashlight unit along with a magnetic mounting ring with adhesive on the back, USB type A to type-C charging cable, a manual, and an instructional video QR code. In the box for the magnetic selfie RGB ring light, we have the ring light unit, a magnetic mounting ring with adhesive on the back, USB type A to type-C charging cable, and a manual. The Talison Master Grip comes

in at around 175 g, and the build is a PC aluminum alloy and ABS build. On the front, we have a magnetic mounting ring, and this is using strong N52 magnets for a very secure hold. And then doing a top- down view of the grip, you can see just how much it extends out. Now, if I go ahead and grab this, you can see I have a good amount of grip. And this also houses the 3,200 mAh battery, which we can also use as a power bank to charge up our phone. Now, there’s a two-stage mechanical shutter button right here. We also have a zoom rocker here. And we have a button that will wake up the cameras or switch cameras. And we also have a function button. On the very front, we have a dial. And it has nice nurling on here for good grip. There’s an LED indicator light here.

And on the back, there’s a textured thumb rest while you’re using the grip. Now, there is another magnetic mounting portion right here. And this is what we’re going to use to actually attach our phone case to the grip. And then the actual grip is a silicone type of leather. So, very soft, nicely textured on the hand. And same with this ring here. Also, this silicone type of material prevents scratching to your accessories. The bottom has a quarterinch thread mount to attach this to the tripod. We also have a cutout to use the attach wrist rest. There’s a power button to start and stop maxive charging, LED indicator lights, and a USB type-C port to charge up the battery in the grip. The Talison case comes in

at around 50 g. And again, this has an aluminum alloy PC and ABS built. Now, on the back, we have a lens cutout or protective bezel. If I do a side view, you could see that actually extends up to protect your rear camera lens. And it’s a split type of camera cutout. Note that the rear camera bezel has a lining or strip that you could slide in the ND16 filter. There’s a magnetic mounting ring in the middle using strong N52 magnets for a very secure hold. And we have some cutouts here as well to improve ventilation. The bottom has a built-in kickstand that you can flip out for horizontal or vertical viewing. And this is nicely tensioned or friction. It does take some effort to snap it into place and to pop it out. So, it’s going to be a secure viewing experience.

And we have that same type of silicone leather type of texture on the back for good grip. The right side has a large cutout for easy button access. And we also have cutouts or perforations to run a wrist strap or shoulder strap. There’s a cutout on top along with a huge cutout for USB type-C access and the speaker grill. And there’s a cutout for the S Pen as well. There’s a huge cutout on the left side of the case. And on the inside, it’s a kind of textured feel, but it feels very smooth and flush, so there’s no chance of this damaging the

back of your phone. The magnetic flashlight comes in at around 52 g. Now, on the top, we have the large lighting area along with a diffusion ring. On the outside, there’s a USB type-C charging port with an LED indicator light. And if you press the power button for two seconds, that’s going to turn the light on. You could also use this dial right here to increase or reduce the brightness. And if you cycle through with a short press of the power button, you can change the various color temperatures. There’s also a mode button right here. And you can also use the Bluetooth shutter button. Pressing that mode button is going to switch it from this fill light mode into the flash mode.

And you could use this directly with your phone or with the Tison Master Grip, and I’ll demo how to do that later. There’s a magnetic mounting ring at the bottom with a soft silicone cover to prevent any type of scratches, and you can actually angle this up vertically as well. The magnetic RGB

selfie light comes in at around 82 g. So, we have the lighting area on top with a diffusion layer. Now, there’s two dials on the side here along with a USB type-C charging port and an LED indicator light. So, to turn this on, you’ll just long press on the button at the top there. That’s going to turn it on. And you could use this first dial to increase the brightness intensity or to decrease it. And you can also go ahead and cycle through the various color temperatures as well. Now, when you’re ready to go into RGB mode, you’ll press it one more time. And you could see we’re seeing this kind of pink color. Now, from here, you could cycle through various RGB colors, and then you can dial in the brightness of those colors.

Similar to the magnetic flashlight, what you can do with this is you can lift this up and you have it completely vertical. But additionally, you can actually rotate this basically in perpetuity to angulate this wherever you see fit. You can also increase the vertical height of this by just pulling up. And you could see we have hard stops to keep this nicely locked into place. When you’re done, you could just reduce it right back down and reduce that height. And you actually have a built-in mirror as well, which is very handy. On the other side, you also have a magnetic mounting ring, again covered with a soft silicone material. I’m going to install

the S26 Ultra into the Tison case. Now, I recommend removing the S Pen from the phone. It’s going to make it a little bit easier. So, I’ll start on the top right corner with the camera lens. Pop it in on the other side. Shift it up. And then I’ll just pop it in on the right and left sides. And just like that, we’re done. The case fitment feels very precise and secure on here. Now, do note that I don’t have a screen protector on here, and the front bezels seem to be very close to the screen. So, if you have a screen protector, it may not fit. And there’s no type of shifting at all. It’s nicely held in place. The rear camera bezel or lip raises high enough so that if you were to place the phone camera side down, there’s no chance of those lenses getting scratched.

The front bezels also rise high enough so that you could place this screen side down without the screen getting scratched. The top cutout is unobstructed and that goes for all of the bottom cutouts and it’s still easy to get as access. If I pop out the built-in kickstand and I use this for vertical viewing and I bang on the table, you can see the phone moves but it doesn’t buckle or fall over. If I use it for horizontal viewing, same deal. Nice and stable in terms of hand feel. So, it does feel fairly grippy when holding it from the back. But on the left side, the entire frame of the phone is exposed. And we also have it exposed on the side and at the

bottom as well. And once the Telison Master Grip is attached, you can see that snaps into place very securely and strong. And I can hold this, you know, shake it up and down in any direction, any orientation, and it’s rock solid secure thanks to the magnetic hold. And with the Master Grip on here, you can see I can actually angulate the grip all the way like this. And because that built-in kickstand stows away nice and flush. It doesn’t rub or make any type of contact. So yeah, overall this is a great looking combo. All of the colors just gel and mesh really nicely together. And if you’re wondering what it looks like with the ND16 filter, well, slide it in right there. And this is how it’s going to look.

Again, the filter is magnetically held in place, so it’s not going anywhere if you go ahead and shake it upside down. And with the Telison grip still on the phone, you can actually use it for vertical viewing. You can see it’s still very stable. It rocks, of course, but it doesn’t fall over. And that actually goes for horizontal viewing as well. Very stable. In terms of handfield and ergonomics, this grip is perfect. So, I can easily wrap my fingers all the way around and it doesn’t make contact even with that magnetic flashlight attacher. And if I do a top down view, you can see all of my fingers are resting on the grip. I don’t have my pinky finger kind of falling off on the side. And of course, I also have a thumb rest right here. So, it’s a very thoughtfully designed grip.

Master Grip Bluetooth Pairing

To set up the Master Grip for the first time, I’ll press and hold on the shutter button for 2 seconds. That’s going to turn it on. I can see the flashing LEDs here. And then what I’m going to do is to jump into Bluetooth. So, I’ll just tap and hold on the Bluetooth setting right here. Jump into Telison S26 Ultra. I have the pairing request. Hit pair. And just like that, it’s paired and ready to go. And with the Telison Master Grip paired, I’ll also go ahead and pair the magnetic flashlight as well. With

Master Grip Controls

the Telison Master Grip connected by Bluetooth and attached, let’s jump into Samsung’s native camera app. So, as soon as I open the camera app up, these are the controls you’re going to have out of the box. So, right now, I’m in photo mode. If I press the shutter button right here, that’s going to go ahead and take the photo. Now, you do have a two-stage shutter. A half press is going to focus and a full press will take the photo. But for the most part, since the phone focuses so quickly, I find I can just take the photo right away without any type of issues. Now, what I can actually do using the mode dial or the front dial right here, if I cycle through that, you can see it’s jumped to portrait mode and I could cycle through photo, video, and then more.

And then once I’m in more, if I keep cycling this, it doesn’t actually pick anything from there. I will have to tap whatever I’m looking for. Jumping back into photo mode. Now, if I use the zoom rocker, so if I zoom out, you can see it’s 0.6. And if I hold down on it, it’s going to cycle through all of the zoom ranges. Now, notice on the native camera app, so I can go from uh ultra wide, uh wide, you know, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x. However, with the zoom rocker, when you hold down on it, it cycles through in.1 increments. Now, if I do a hard flick on this, you can see it still cycles that way. doesn’t jump up to the next focal length automatically like which would be 1x instead of 0.6.

And in photo mode, if I go ahead and press the wake up button, this is just going to switch it from the rear lens to the front lens right there. If I press the function button, that seems to open up the gallery. And if I rotate that front dial, this just opens up meta information. And if I slide it to the other side, it exits out of the gallery. In video mode, pressing the shutter button is going to start recordings. And of course, pressing it again is going to stop recordings. Otherwise, everything else seems to be pretty much the same. If I use the front dial, it doesn’t seem to change anything. If I press the wake on button, that is going to switch to the front selfie lens and then back to the rear lens.

And if I press the um function button here, that is going to take photos while I’m actively recording. And in video mode, the zoom slider or rocker

works exactly the same way. Now, let’s jump into the reef color app. And as soon as I tap into it, I can see there’s a notification at the top left here. So, if I tap on that, it’s showing that both of the devices I’ve added have firmware updates. So, I’ll do that now. I’ll jump back into the Reef Color app now that the firmware is updated. Now, right now, we’re in photo mode. If I tap on the top right corner here, I can go ahead and change the aspect ratio for photo mode. I can also turn on a grid level, flash timer. And if I jump into frame, this is where you can set your own type of frame. So, you can change the style of the frame, the layout, the color, and you can also go ahead and add your own text if you like. You can also cycle through the various focal lengths as well.

And if you tap on this flash icon, you can change the flash brightness along with the flash duration. Now, if we jump into this icon next to the shutter button there, you can see there’s various type of film effects you can simulate. So, there’s FNC HX, there’s FSA, and here’s a bunch of the other effects that you can kind of simulate. And you can just put that to none if you want a natural look. Now, you can also tap on L and use one of these available LUTs as well if you like. The bottom left icon gives you access to exposure, color temperature, shutter speed, and ISO. And note that when we’re in the Reef color app, the buttons have different functions than when we use them in the native Samsung app. So, right now, if I go ahead and press the shutter button, that works as intended.

No problems there. If I go ahead and use the zoom rocker again, that also works similar to how it did in the native camera app. Now, if I go ahead and use the modalo, you can see that’s actually going to switch the intensity or effect level of the filter that I have on right now. So, right now it’s on FNC and I’m switching that effect. Now, if I press the function button, it’s going to go into filter switch and I can now switch between various types of filters. If I press the wake up button, that’s going to switch between photo and video mode. But, we can actually fine-tune these controls.

Remap Button Controls

Remap Button Controls — Watch this section

To fine-tune the button controls, we’re going to tap on this top left corner right here. And then we’re going to tap on details for the master grip. If I tap into dial, you can see right now the front dial is set to filter intensity, which you just saw. But you can set this to say adjust shutter speed for example. So I’ll jump back and then the function key that can be filter switch exposure adjust, you know, switch shooting mode. So for example, I’ll put it to switch shooting mode. And then for the wake up key, right now it’s switch shooting mode. I’ll switch this to uh switch focal length, for example. Now that I’ve made those changes to the buttons, if I press the wake up button, it’s going to cycle through the various focal lengths instead of me having to use the zoom rocker.

And if I press the function button, this is now going to either adjust shutter speed or adjust the shooting mode. So in shooting mode, if I use the front dial, you can see it’s going to switch from photo to video. And if I press function again, it’s now going to adjust the shutter speed. So you can see pretty handy just being able to change those on the fly. After making

those button changes in the Reef color app, if I jump into Samsung’s native camera app and I press the wake up button, it’s still going to switch between the front selfie lens and the rear lens. Whereas in the Reef Color app, this was actually switching between the various focal lengths on here. So those settings don’t carry over,

unfortunately. Video looks stable even while walking when using the Telison Master Grip versus if I was just holding the phone by itself. Since I can mount the phone vertically or horizontally, I can also get some really cool lowprofile shots as well. I was also able to take stable time-lapse video since the grip can be used as a vertical or horizontal stand. And you can actually elevate your phone a little bit as well. You can also

Wireless Charging

use the grip as a power bank and a pin. So, you can see right now I’m at about 90% battery life. So, I’ll just go ahead press this button once. That’s going to actually start max safe charging, which you can see right there. So, wireless charging has started. And then to turn this off, you just double press it and it’s going to turn off wireless charging. And note that while I’m wirelessly charging my S26 Ultra, I’m actually charging the Tison Master Grip at the same time using this portable power bank that I’ve just stuck on using Maxave mounting. So, you do have a ton of versatility on here. Of course, I could just move this power bank into my pocket, have it charge the grip while the grip charges the phone. Really, you have a ton of versatility.

Now, I started charging at 61% battery life. After half an hour or 30 minutes, I was at 77% battery life. So, I gained 16% battery. And the phone screen was off. I only had the always on display on. So, it was looking like this. Now, in terms of how much battery you’ll get while you’re actively shooting with the phone, that’s kind of hard to say. It’s really going to depend on if you’re shooting 1080p, 4K, how many frames per second, you know, if you’re shooting 8K, what your screen brightness is like on the phone. do you have like other things running in the background? So, it’s really going to vary for you. Whenever the battery in the Master Grip dies, it takes about 2 hours to fully recharge.

Magnetic Flashlight Mode

Magnetic Flashlight Mode — Watch this section

I’ve also paired the magnetic flashlight to the S26 Ultra by Bluetooth. And what I can do is move it out of the fill light mode where we have continuous lighting into flash mode. You can see once I press the mode button, it’s going to have a blue LED indicator light. So, right now I’m in photo mode. If I go ahead and press the shutter button, that’s going to automatically trigger the flash, which is so handy. And of course, you can actually remove the grip and just attach the uh magnetic fill light directly to the phone since it has magnetic mounting rings if you didn’t want to use the grip, for example. And of course, you can adjust the flash strength. So, you can see if I crank it all the way down, take a photo, it’s going to be very low flash output.

And I can crank it all the way to the max and have maximum output. I can even use the magnetic flashlight as a remote trigger. So, you can see it’s off body from the grip and from the phone as well. So, I could just go ahead, you know, have this off in the corner. press that remote shutter button, it’s going to take the

photo. If you’re wondering whether you can use other S26 Ultra cases instead of the Telles case, maybe you want, you know, all-around protection on your phone, it is possible, provided the magnets are strong enough. So, I have a Mag Back case here, which also uses strong N52 magnets. So, I’ll go ahead clamp on the Telison Master Grip. You can see it locks into place very nicely. And if I look at a back view, you could see where this kind of curvature is near the thumb cutout, it doesn’t actually extend all the way there. So, this is not a case with, you know, thick enough bezels where it’s going to impede or hamper anything. And you can see is a very strong, very secure hold. So, yes, you can use other third party cases provided they have a strong enough

magnet. So, if you take a ton of photos or videos and you notice that your fingers sometimes gets in the way of the lens or your hands just get tired holding a very thin phone case, the Talison Master Grip is probably what you’ve been looking for. You no longer have to run a dinky tripod like this when you have something that’s far more ergonomic, elegant, and adds a ton of versatility. The Master Grip also has a 3,200 mAh battery to keep your phone’s battery topped up thanks to the Max Safe charging. The ultra strong N52 magnets ensure you have a strong and secure magnetic hold when attaching your phone or even Maxafe accessories such as the RGB ring light or the magnetic flashlight, which also doubles as a remote trigger.

Having tactile button controls within easy reach is also great for speeding up your workflow and reducing camera shake. The ability to easily add lens filters is also really neat, and they can also pull double duty as lens protectors. So, if you’re ready to improve your photo and video experience, I’m going to leave links down below for you to pick up your very own Telles Master Grip, and you can use my code DCT for 15% off your order. If you have the S25 Ultra or the iPhone 17 Pro Max, they also make grips for that. I’ll leave those link down below. If you enjoyed this video, maybe consider checking out this video next, and even liking it, subscribing. I have way more phone accessory videos coming up very soon. And I also review a bunch of different products.

Headphones, earbuds, speakers, monitors, mice. Really something for everyone.
