Intro

If you’re like me and you put in a ton of hours at work, at home, or studying, you’ve probably experienced eye strain before. And if you have, you’re going to want to check out these gentle lighting options from Lit Ones. They have dual layered lighting options that illuminate top and bottom of your workspace for an even illumination that’s easy on your eyes. Their lights also have a ton of adjustability to get the right lighting angle and illumination spread. You can adjust the color temperatures, the brightness levels, and they even have onboard lighting so that every time you turn it on, it remembers your favorite lighting settings. Some lights can even be remotely controlled with a wireless rotary knob, whether you’re at your desk or far away from your desk.
So, let’s take a closer look at these lighting options from Lit One so you can see which is best for your setup. And a big thanks to Lit Ones for sending these out
H02 EaseGlow Light

for review. in the box for the HO2 video conference side. So, we have the lighting unit along with the arm, the base or stand, wireless control knob along with batteries for it. We also have a tightening screw, Allen key, manual, power cable, and quick start guide. The metal baser stand for the HO2 video conference light is super hefty, coming in at 1.5 kg, or about 3.3 lb. So, this is going to be very planted wherever you put this on your desk. And to help with that, we also have feet at the very bottom here to prevent this from kind of sliding around and just to protect your desk. Now, once you add in the actual light unit to the stand, everything comes in at around 2 kg or about 4.4 lb.
You also have a wide adjustability range with the HO2 light thanks to three pivoting adjustment points. You can angulate the light forwards, backwards, even completely upright to really angulate it and extend the height for even light spread illumination.
VersaGlow V01 Ring Light

in the box for the Versaglow V1. So, we have the Versaglow light with an inline remote on the cable, a mount/stand, manual, and support card. The Versaglo V1 ring light comes in at around 225 g. And that’s including the light and the mounting base or stand. Note that there is a kind of rubberized or silicone pad here so that once this is resting against your laptop or your monitor, it’s not going to damage or scratch it in any way. You can also increase the vertical height of the ring light at any point. Now, in terms of mounting it to your laptop or to a monitor, what you’re going to do is this arm is actually uh folded in, but you can just fold it right out, and then I’ll just go ahead rest it on the lip of my laptop uh screen right here.
And note that I’ve angled the light down so it’s on my laptop keyboard. So, this makes it easier to type at night. And if I’m looking at my notes at night, you know, in a dimly lit room, this is just way easier on my eyes, if I don’t want to turn on the entire room light, I have perfect illumination right here. The cable has a fairly long length, which is good. It’s easy to plug into a laptop, desktop, or nearby wall socket. Now, in terms of adjusting the lighting, you can see we have a blue LED letting us know that it is receiving power. So, I’ll just hit this power button at the top here, and it is on. Now, if I want, I can go ahead and press down, and it’s just going to go ahead and decrease the temperature. You can either click it or hold it down.
So, that’s the lowest temperature, and I can go ahead and increase it to the highest temperature. Now, if you want to actually go ahead and change the color temperature on here, we’re just going to press this button at the top here, and it’s going to cycle through five different color temperatures. So, you can go from 3K all the way to 6K. The other great thing about this light is it does have built-in memory. So, if I go ahead and turn it off and then I turn it back on, you can see it retains exactly the same lighting temperature and brightness level. Now, what if you want to use the Versaglow with your cell phone? Well, that’s also really easy to do. So, if we flip it around, we can actually pull down this pad right here.
And this also has a kind of silicone rubberized finish to help keep this nice and planted. So, what we can do is just go ahead put this like so. I’ll rotate the light towards me. And then I can just prop my phone just like this. And when you’re done, everything folds nice and compactly, perfect for taking on the go. Next, I’m going to use the Verslo V1 ring light with my cell phone since this actually doubles as a cell phone base or stand. I’m recording video using the front selfie cam on my cell phone. You can see it’s very dark because I only have one overhead light. If I turn on the Versigo V1 light, I’ll just wait for the camera on the phone to compensate for the additional brightness. You can see it’s just much more pleasing to have more even lighting.
Now from here I could also go ahead and switch between various color temperatures just like so. And at any time you can also go ahead increase it to the max brightness which is quite bright if you need it or you can go ahead and you know lower it to something a little bit more usable. So yeah, big difference having the Verslo V1 ring light on versus having it off.
F-630 ComforGlow Light

In the box for the F630 video conference light. So, we have this metallic base or stand along with the light attached to the mounting arm, power cable, manual, and support card. The build quality of the F630 video light feels really sturdy. So, this metal base or a stand is coming in at around 1.3 kg or 2.8 lb. Now, if I do a underside of it, you can see we have this kind of soft uh type of foam pad. And you can see if I press in, it kind of depresses a little bit. So, this is going to protect your desk. it’s not going to scratch it and it’s going to prevent the base from kind of moving around too much. Now, we also have this area here. You’re going to feed in the uh light arm into here and then you’re going to use this locking knob right here to keep it nice and planted.
Now, if you go ahead and add in the light with the arm to the base, everything comes in at around 1.8 kg or 3.9 lb. Looking at the light module, so we do have edge lit illumination along with a soft or matte diffuse layer here. So, it’s just going to be more gentle on the eyes lighting, which is something you see in a lot of Lip One’s lightings. The width of the actual lighting area is a little over 15 cm by 15 cm. Setting up the F630 light is extremely easy. You’re just going to put the mounting arm into the slot right here and then use this locking knob to tighten it into place. Once it’s tightened into place, you’re just going to plug in the power cable. Note that once I turn the light on, I can go ahead press down on the minus button to cut the light to the lowest possible brightness.
And I can press and hold to increase it to the maximum brightness. Now, if I want to change the color temperature, we can go from 3K to 6K in terms of color temperature. We’re just going to hit this M right here. And you can see it’s going to cycle through the various different color temperatures. So, you can pick whatever suits your workspace. There’s another button at the top that you can use to set a 30 or 60 minute timer. The other benefit of the F630 lights, similar to LIT 1’s other lights, is if I go ahead and I set the color temperature to something warm and let me just, you know, reduce the brightness by a little bit, then I’ll turn the light off just like so.
Now, the next time I want to use this light, if I come back to my workspace tomorrow, hit the power button here, it’s going to turn back on at the same color temperature and brightness. So, it does remember the last setting used. There’s a ton of adjustability options with the F630. So, we have three adjustment points here, here, and here. So on the very bottom one near the base, you can angulate it as far back as here or as far forward as here. Now most of you are probably going to have it either straight up or recline back a little bit like this. The next adjustment point, this can actually go basically all the way up, you know, kind of fully vertical or upright like this. Or it can even go backwards a little bit as well. Now I’ll just bring it uh right back down here.
And then the other adjustment angle we have is right here. And this can rotate the light this way or this way as well. And of course, you can angulate it down that way. Basically all the way up to here or you can angulate it like that and then rotate it like that. So you can actually use this even as a kind of like ring light when you’re on a meeting if you didn’t need it directly on your laptop or on your desk. I’m now recording video using my laptop’s webcam. The only other lighting I have is the ambient lighting in the room. And you can see that my face is a little bit dark. Now, what I’m going to do is I’m going to angulate the F630 light to actually fill in my face with light.
Even though this is mostly meant to be used as a overhead light, you know, to illuminate your desk, since the lighting is gentle on the eyes, I’m going to actually angulate it since we have a lot of adjustment to fill in my face. This is what that looks like. So, the F630 is on probably at around 70 to 80% brightness. I could lower it a bit, but it’s still very comfortable for my eyes. You know, it’s not bothering me. And you could see the lighting on my face is much more pleasing. So, even though this is mostly an overhead light, it actually works wonderfully as a ring or fill light as well. All right, let’s talk

lighting. And the HO2 is one of my favorite lights because it has dual layer lighting, which means you’re illuminating both the top and bottom of your workspace. So, it just gives a more even type of lighting or illumination to your workspace. And notice that when the lights are off, just how dark it is in the room. And then once I turn the light on and I crank it to the maximum brightness, there’s tons of illumination illuminating my workspace and even the other room, giving it a nice soften ambient glow without any type of harshness. And depending on how high you set the light or the angulation of the light, you can have even illumination. So you can illuminate your entire desk.
You can see I’m easily able to illuminate both my laptop, external monitor, my phone, and even if I wanted to write and take notes, I can do that as well. And there’s also a handy wireless rotary remote that you can use to adjust the color temperature, the brightness, or to turn the lights off. And you can do that while you’re sitting at your desk or even further away. You can also use the built-in touch panel on the front of the light if you didn’t want to use the wireless remote knob.
F630 ComforGlow Lighting

Next is the F630 desk light. And you can see when the room is pitch black, it’s very dark. And once I put it on to the maximum brightness, it evenly illuminates the room. Not only that, again, you can angulate it to get nice even spread or illumination to illuminate your entire desk and everything you have on it. I also rotated the light upwards so that it would actually hit the ceiling and bounce the light back down. Also giving a nice soft ambient glow that’s gentle

on the eyes. The Versaglow V1 ring light also provides gentle on the eyes lighting. So, this light can be adjusted vertically as well. So, you can increase the height. Now you can position this to look directly at your face. So that if you’re on a Zoom call or any virtual meeting, your face is nicely illuminated. Additionally, you can actually angulate the light so that it angles down towards your desk providing even illumination on your desk so you can just see your laptop keyboard easier. You can use your mouse, you could take notes, you get nice even light illumination. I also angled the V1 light backwards so it just bounced light off of my ceiling in the room. And that also gave me nice ambient lighting with a soft glow that was gentle on the eyes.
So, you can see all of these lights offer great adjustability and a ton of brightness to fully illuminate your workspace, whether it’s large or small.
Recommended?

So, can I recommend these lighting options from Lit Ones? And these are hands down my favorite light because they have a nice soft diffuse light illumination that’s not harsh unlike some other lights which really cause eye strain and eye fatigue when you’re working late at night. The Versigol V1 ring light is perfect anytime you need something compact when you’re on the go or on vacation. And it works well with your phone and laptop. The F630 desk lamp is also a solid option with a ton of adjustability and bright enough to provide even light distribution for my entire workspace. However, my absolute favorite is the Ease Glow series of lights, which is their HO1 and HO2 light. So, I really love the HO2 light because it has that dual layer lighting.
You have lighting illuminating the top and bottom of your workspace and it has a ton of adjustability and a huge vertical height so you can just get that nice even illumination on your desk or workspace. So, if you’re interested in picking up any of these lights, I’m going to leave links down below for you to pick up your very own.
