Hey, it’s Adrian from the Democratic Party. Today I’m reviewing the Lemmsco LWM 318C. This is a wireless mic system. I wrote this a lot of wireless mic systems around, you know, wrote as a really nice one, I’m not sure about the date, but those are like the mainstream brands that everyone knows, but you know, I also have them in your own Amazon. You’re just like browsing around, you see a product. It looks like a really good price, and you know, you take a chance to see if it actually pans out or not. So this is one of those products. I think it’s a hinge-over product for the pricey pace, so I think it’s a really good value, so let’s just get into the review and see what you guys think.

Okay, so in the package, you have the two units, the receiver and transmitter, and you can see here there is a writing up here to tell you which one is which. So let’s start with the receiver, so it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, if you want to do audio monitoring. On this side is a micro USB charging port, and on this side it’s maybe hard to see, but there’s a little hole here, and this is just a resetting if you need to. So when you power it on, it has an LED light to show you that it’s pure, and that’s all it does. I do believe it fascists to show you the battery life as well.

On the transmitter unit, you have the built-in microphone here, you also have a 3.5mm input port, if you want to run a wired lav mic, and again, on this side is like on this one, you have the charging port and the reset, and when you turn this on, it lights up to tell you if it’s paired, and it also flashes, I think, to show you the battery life. Now, one really unique feature about this system is they realize on magnets, so you can see here there is a magnet and on the clip, there’s another magnet. So these magnets are really good because it’s relying on just the magnet safety and secure. These are not cheap magnets, so you can see if I drop it from here, it finds its way home, it requires some effort to pull it up.

Even if I drop it at a diagonal, you can see it finds its way home, so it’s really good. And if I hold it by the clip here, then I shake it, look, I’m really shaking it, it’s not going anywhere, so you’re going to be pretty confident it’s going to stay. So in the rest of the package, you get the TRS cable, TRS cable, and also another clip for the other unit. You get a wind screen, you get the two charging cables for both units. You also get a wired lav mic, which is really good because you don’t have to go out and buy that separately. Most can be pretty expensive depending on the type you get, or you’re not a quality. You also have a lander if you just want to hook it around and not actually clip it. Then you have the, I guess, the holder for the wired mic, the wired lav mic.

You also get wind screen for the wired lav mic. There’s also two reset keys. If you need to reset the units, and there’s also this additional magnet with 3M backing tape. I guess if you have a more permanent mounting solution, and lastly, you get the carrying couch and of course manual. Okay, so here’s a test of what the audio sounds like using the supplied wired lav mic.

Unedited Audio Sample

So I know it’s not a clean setup, it’s just for audio purposes. So I don’t think I’m going to be using this because like the benefit of wireless is you want to be truly wireless, but here’s a reference of what the sound sounds like if you’re playing on using this. So the audio you’re hearing right now is from the Lensgo wireless system, so you can see I’ve clicked here. I have the windmuff on, and hopefully this gives you a good idea of what the sound sounds like. So what I’ll do is I’ll just talk a bit more about the unit, and then after that we’ll do like a ranged test. So this is rated for 50 meters, which is about 164 feet, but you need a clear line of sight, so no barriers or instructions or anything like that.

The battery in here is a 500 mAh battery, and that’s good for about 4 to 4 and a half hours. And that’s roughly what I’m getting about 4 hours. It’s made of ABS plastics, so it’s pretty durable, and when I was like kind of twisting the unit or trying to see if there’s any looseness or play, there’s none of that, so it’s solidly built. Like I said, it’s magnetic, and the magnets are strong enough where I can actually move this down to here, and kind of just use the magnetic clip and the unit. And I don’t actually have to use the clip to clip on, it could just come right through. So later on I’ll do that. I just want to keep the audio like consistent, so I’m leaving there. A couple other things. This is a omnidirectional system of course, so it’s going to pick up sound from everywhere.

So just keep in mind that it’s not the greatest if you’re going to be like outdoors and you know, in a loud environment. So in terms of the weight, this is 30 grams, and the road wireless ecosystem is 31 grams, I think, so you know, they’re not very heavy units, but you can see this is still enough to, you know, sag my sweater. So if you’re wearing, you know, like a very thin t-shirt or thin sweater like this, it is going to pull it down, in which case you may want to use the landier or, you know, clip it, maybe, sorry, secure it through the actual shirt and so they’re just having a hang on. So let me give you a demonstration of that because it’s really easy. So the audio is going to change now.

When I pull this out, you can see it’s easy, so I can just grab the clip, run the clip, like, right, let’s say right here, and then just clip it here and there you go. So the audio is going to be a bit different because now it’s a bit further away, but you can see it’s like, it’s solid here, like I’m shaking it, twist things shaking shaking and it’s not going anywhere. So it’s a really, really strong magnet and it makes it super versatile that you could just, you know, secure it through your shirt. And now it doesn’t really have as much of a sag, like it’s almost, it’s pretty much gone, I would say right now. So really, really unique system compared to all the other wireless systems I’ve seen.

Range Test Outdoors

Okay, quick range test with the land school system. So this is where it is for 50 meters or 164 feet, providing you have a clear line of sight. So most I think you’re going to hear a signal cut in and cut out when my body is turned away. Walking, walking, clear line of sight, walking, walking, walking, walking, walking, walking, Clear line of sight, clear line of sight, clear line of sight, clear line of sight, clear line of sight, clear line of sight, Clear line of sight, clear line of sight, clear line of sight. So you can see from that range test that it did cut out when I reached the end of the street. So which was when I checked it about 60 meters and this is rated for 50 meters.

So the range is within what it says is going to be because every time I was turning back around, to say like clear line of sight, it was pretty good up until that 50 meter mark and once I went past that, it cut out. Now there’s one thing which is because it needs a clear line of sight every time I turn my body away from the receiver, you would hear like clicking like it losing signal. So as just that’s something to keep in mind that if you’re going to have your back, it while you’re walking away, you may hear that clicking clicking. It’s probably only going to come once you get out of it say like, you know, 7 to 10 feet or more, but if you’re within that walking backwards, it should be fine. And for my use, and I guess if you’re using it indoors, it’s not going to be an issue.

My Thoughts

My Thoughts — Watch this section

So let me know in the comments what you guys think about this sound. I actually think it sounds good for what you pay, which is, you know, it comes in at around 100 Canadian, maybe a little bit less when it’s on sale. And you know, you do get this wired laugh mic, which is if you’re going to buy it separately, you know, another $20 or $30. And then you also have the option of just, you know, using a land, you don’t want it, you know, kind of sagging or hanging off your clothes. But what I showed you, you can easily mitigate that by just clipping it right through your clothes. So I think it’s a great buy for the price of this, if you’re just starting out, you want to wire the system. As long as you’re okay with the limitations, it’s going to be under 50 meters or around that.

And if you have your back turn away from the system, you may hear clicking. If you’re going to be walking away that far, but you know, if you’re like me where you’re having kind of like, this happened in the or set up your non-moving around that much, but you still want wireless, so you’re not writing wires and things like that. It’s definitely an indoliver there. So the battery life has, like I said, around 4 to 4 1.5 hours, so that’s pretty good for, you know, decent filming. The one thing I would say that I’d like an improvement on is the LED. Because right now, this shows that it’s being, yeah, sorry, just because it’s paired, but it doesn’t actually tell me like the battery life, right? So on other units, you know, you can see like just battery bars, so you have an idea.

But if you just charge these up before you start your video, then you know you’re good for like, around 4 hours around 10. The other thing is, there is no addressments on here, like audio gain or anything like that. But I mean, for the sound that it produces, just straight out, and I haven’t edited any of the sound on here. So what you’re hearing is what it sounds like. I’m paired with the camera, which is Sony A73 for reference. So all in all, I think it’s a great system. All right, guys, so I hope that was helpful for you. And I’m going to be doing a review on the road wireless school system, and also a comparison between this system and that. So if you’re interested in something I’ve got, please, consider liking the video and subscribing, and stay tuned for my next video. Thanks, bye.
