Design
Bank’s Armor Gold power bank is extremely slim and lightweight, coming in at around 113 g or about 0.25 lb. Now, if I do a side profile, you could see just how slim that is. So, that’s about 0.88 88 cm thin or about 0.35 in thin as well. Now, taking a close-up look at the top. So, we do have this aramid fiber kind of weave pattern that really adds a lot of griability. And you can see it’s not leaving much in terms of the way of fingerprints or smudges. And we also have LED indicator lights at the bottom here to show the current battery life. So, if I just press this button on the side there, you can see that’s going to show me the current battery life. And this is a tactile button. So if I do a side view, you can see it’s a little bit uh protruding right there.
And you can just go ahead press that to check the battery life at any time. And then if we take a look at the underside of this, so this is where we’re going to use the Max Safe charging uh just to kind of line that up. And this does use strong N52 magnets. I can just grip it from the side here, shake my phone, hold it upside down, and you can see there’s zero issues in terms of the attachment or hold on here. Now, part of that is due to this really strong magnets in the case as well, and I’ll leave links down below if you want to check this case out. Now, taking a look at the very bottom, this is where we have the USB type-C charging port. So, we’re going to use that to just top this right back up or to charge any devices that don’t support wireless charging.
And the power bank is wrapped in this matte aluminum alloy with the Banks logo printed on the side. Another added benefit of this power bank is you can see that whenever you place this on a table, it elevates the phone off the surface. So, with a lot of phone cases, you know, you may get like a little bit of wobbling or rocking if the camera lenses are kind of protruding out. But since this elevates the entire phone off a table or any type of flat surface, there’s virtually no wobble. Here’s a

next section. Using the power bank is extremely simple. All you’re going to do is to magnetically attach it and it’s automatically going to start charging the phone. So, you can see right there, wireless charging just kicked in. I didn’t have to press any type of buttons or activate it. You just adhere it to the phone and you’re good to go. So, the blue LED indicates that it’s, you know, successfully being charged. But what if I want to leave this on, but I don’t want my phone to charge. It’s easy to do. I’ll just double click this button on the side here, and that’s going to cut charging while I can leave the power bank on here. And of course, you could use the USB type-C charging port to charge any type of device in wired mode.
And you could see that I now have fast charging in wired mode. There’s built-in LED indicator light so you know how much battery life you have remaining at any given time. And you could charge any type of wireless charging device. So these wireless earbuds actually support wireless charging. You can see it’s actively being charged right now. If you
Fitment
have the S25 Ultra like I do, you’ll notice that the power bank kind of covers that bottom lens. Now what does that mean in real life use? Well, you can see with the ultra wide lens, nothing is really affected. If I go to the 1x lens again, nothing’s affected. Two, nothing. three, nothing. But once I got to five, it does cover it a little bit. You can see there’s a little bit of a dark spot coming up here where actually covers uh the telephoto lens or the 5X lens.
