Hey guys, it’s Adrian here. And the rumor is that the iPhone 18 Pro Max is not going to be much different in terms of dimensions to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. So, I wanted to take this iPhone 18 Pro Max case that I received early and just try it with the iPhone 17 Pro Max to see just how close they are in terms of dimensions. So, I’ll go ahead install it right now. And I went on pretty easily. Now, if we take a back view here, you could see that for the actual lens cutouts, um it does seem that it’s kind of shifted a bit to the right. It’s not perfectly centered on here. Now, it may actually be centered on the iPhone 18 Pro Max. So, don’t take the cutout style here, you know, as kind of gospel. Now, the other cutouts, nothing is really obstructed.
You could see all of the lens and, you know, the [music] sensor and the flashlight is completely unobstructed. And then looking at the bottom, the speaker grill is also completely unobstructed. And if I pull up the cover for the USB type-C port, again completely unobstructed as well. Now, if I do the power button, that works. Very responsive. Same with the volume up, volume down, and the ringer button as well. So, yeah, for the most part, it actually seems like you probably will be able to use your iPhone 17 Pro Max case on the new iPhone 18 Pro Max. I mean, at least with this case I’m able to do that. You know, maybe other cases with even tighter cutouts or fitments may have another problem. Now, you can see this has individual lens cutouts.
If you have an iPhone 17 Pro Max case with a large cutout, definitely it shouldn’t be a problem at all. So, yeah, pretty exciting to see that you may actually be able to just use your iPhone 17 Pro Max case day one while you look for an iPhone 18 Pro Max case if you really do want to upgrade. And if you’re wondering which phone case this is, this is the UB Grip Armored Fiber case from Supcase. And they do have other colors as well. And I will be doing a full review of this case testing, you know, MagSafe functionality, NFC functionality, etc. So, maybe stick around if you want to see that.
And maybe also consider liking and subscribing because I’ll also be reviewing cases from a ton of other brands like Bangs, Pitaka, MagBak, Casekoo, more that I can’t actually think about, but yeah, maybe like and subscribe to see all of those case reviews, which I’ll have in the coming weeks. [music] So, hopefully I’ll see you in the next video.
