Intro

hey it’s Adrian and today I’m checking out sound pe’s Breezy open ear earbuds these have 12 mm dual magnetic drivers Bluetooth 5.4 a low latency gaming mode lightweight and comfy with an adjustable design lightening quick multi-point functionality and ipx4 rating and pretty good battery life now those are some pretty good specs on paper but there is one area where I do find these a bit lacking so let’s take a closer look at these sound Feats Breezy open your earbuds to see if they could be your next SP and a big thanks to sound PS for sending these out for review in the box
Package Contents

we have the charging case for the sound Pats Breezy open earbuds a USB type A to type-c charging cable stickers and a user guide the charging case for the
Design

sound Pat’s Breezy is fairly lightweight coming in at around 61 G with both earbuds in here and each earbud comes in at around 8 or 9 G each so it’s a pretty lightweight setup overall now it’s pretty much a matte finish and we have that sound piz s going on here and this is a little bit textured and you could see that it plays nice with the light there’s also a little uh Notch here to help open and close the case and an LED indicator light as well on the rear we have the USB type-c charging port and this is what the open a earbuds look like in the case so you can see this kind of stemmer hook area just overlaps now getting these in and out is really easy you can see how simple that is and then popping them back in just to show the magnetic uh strength here you know you can shake it it’s not going to fall so yeah opening and closing the case and getting these out in a go is no problem now taking a closer look here so one of the defining features of this is that this hook um is actually adjustable by up to 90° so you can see I can actually open that all the way up or close it down now it’s a hard stop so as I go there’s hard stop increments but it’s not like super tightly friction so definitely you know if you were to um kind of tap on here or if this get snagged it will come out of place but I am happy to see this type of design feature it’s the first time I’ve seen that on a pair of open air earbuds but yeah it’s pretty much a soft feel um kind of rubberized feel and we have that same type of design pattern with the sound Pizza Esser and we do have a textured finish um that’s matte as well so that’s going to be good for grip ability on the underside we have the metal charging contacts and then the speaker Grill area and yeah that’s what they look like um pretty lightweight and compact here’s a quick look at the specs
Specs

feel free to pause or jump ahead to the
Bluetooth Pairing

next section I’ll pair the sound PS Breezy for the first time so I’ll just open the case up hit scan and I’ll just wait I could see it already there so sound bre Breezy tap on that hit pair and it’s already connected I’ll repeat the same process on my second phone to set up multipoints so I’ll hit scan and I’ll just wait so sound PS Breezy hit pair and I can see that it’s showing that it’s connected I’ll just turn bluetooth back on on my first phone now and I’ll just go ahead and tap on it and I can see it’s simultaneously connected to both phones using multipoint let’s
Multipoint

take a look at multipoint so I’ll start playing music on my first phone second phone so you can hear that the music or the audio switch over from the first phone to the second phone and it automatically pauses whichever phone that you’re on so here’s a demo [Music] again so this is great because you could have this connected to you know like a laptop and then if a call comes in on your phone you can easily switch over
App Settings

let’s take a look at the app settings in the Pete audio app so right away I can see the battery life at a glance so they’re pretty full on both I could also turn game mode on or off and I could disable able touch controls as well there’s also a dedicated movie mode and then this option to enable Dynamic EQ and note that you will need the Pete’s audio app to enable this option you can’t enable it by just the touch controls if we go into custom key this is where we can remap the controls so it does say here uh a left click is going to do volume up and down which is my preferred way then a double click will play or pause a triple click can do game mode or voice assistant and then a long press will do pre previous track or next track you also have the option to change the prompt language from English to Chinese German or Japanese you can also update the firmware and change the
Touch Controls

prompt volume controls are super simple to use so a single tap will increase the volume and a single tap will decrease the volume you can also do a double tap to pause music and a double tap to resume music now if you press and hold you can jump ahead to the next track or press and hold to go back to the previous track now if I do a triple tap on the right earbud is going to open the voice assistant and then if I go ahead and do a triple tap on the left it’s going to cycle through the different modes so it’ll cycle through game mode movie mode and then back to the normal mode and again you can customize all of these touch controls in the app let’s
Sound

talk about sound quality and if you’re going with open air earbuds you know you’re making a compromise on convenience over sound quality now when I listen to these I listened at say 50 to 60% because they do get quite loud and and I highly recommend downloading the pets audio app enabling the dynamic equalizer because if you don’t do that the sound coming out of these is going to sound just kind of way too Hollow and lacking life now even with the dynamic equalizer turned on I’ll say that the base delivery was pretty decent you get you know good thumb for open ear earbuds but you lack that kind of satisfying you know base Trail off that you you know normally find in semi inar or in your earbuds but the area where I had the most problem with is the mids and highs because the way these are tuned for my ear they’re just tuned you know a bit too harsh for me and especially when I listen to you know a lot of vocal prominent songs the voices would come through a bit too harshly bit too much siblin and then if you were to say listen to these at a higher volume that issue would be further Amplified now this may or may not be that big of a deal for you if you’re just going to the gym going on a hike maybe you don’t care to you know really get lost in the music you just need kind of background noise or something to accompany you and in that case these will work well and they are very loud now I have reviewed other open air earbuds that actually do sound pretty decent considering that they’re open air airbuds but they cost two to three times as much so considering the price that this cost and the other features that it provides it’s within
Mic

spec here’s an example of what microphone audio sounds like from The Sound PS Breezy open air earbuds I’m in a very quiet room with little to no ambient noise I’m now going to play really loud music to simulate a noisy environment to see how well the microphones handle it here’s an example of what audio sounds like from the sedes Breezy open air earbuds in a very noisy
Gaming

environment casual gaming is very fluid with the low latency gaming mode these
Battery Life

are rated for up to 10 hours of play time on a single charge and if you factor in the charging case then that bumps it up to 40 hours now when I use these I was getting I would say between 5 to 7 hours and I normally listen at around say 50 to 60% for the most part and I had the dynamic EQ feature turn or not and if you want to further prolong battery life you can always listen to One earbud at a time while the other one stays topped up in the charging case now
Comfort

these are some of the most comfortable open air earbuds that I’ve used and it’s not because they have this kind of rubberized material which a lot of open air earbuds have it’s the fact that you can kind of just easily adjust this on the Fly and you can see for the most part that Loop just kind of stays in place so you can really custom fit this basically for any type of ear size which is something that you really can’t do on a lot of open ear earbuds so yeah these can stay nice and snug around your ears
Recommended?

for all day use so can I recommend these sound beads Breezy open air earbuds and it’s a bit of a mix back for me because they’re super comfortable for all day wear you have lightning fast multipoint one of the fastest I’ve seen low latency for gaming with Bluetooth 5.4 and decent battery life but the sound coming out of these is definitely not the best that I’ve heard out of the open air earbuds that I reviewed now this may or may not be that big of a deal to you if you’re just going to the gym you want something just to keep you company that’s loud enough because these do get very loud hey these are a great option for the price that they cost and the adjustable design is really nice for the price too so if you’re looking for a pair of open a earbuds that around the $40 Mark I’m going to leave some links down below for you to learn more or to pick one up for yourself and if you found this video helpful please consider checking out some of my other reviews on headphones and earbuds and I also review a bunch of different Tech on this channel so I’m sure you’ll find something you like and I’d like to ask a huge favor would you mind liking and subscribing if you found this video helpful it truly does help me out as a small and growing Channel and I hope to see you in the next one soon
