Intro
If you’re looking for a serious drop protection for your new iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max in a stylish case, the Taurus Q3 Air Pro case is definitely worth checking out. It provides up to 16 feet of drop protection thanks to the unique Air Duet dual airbag air protect system to absorb impact forces plus the race protective front screen lip and rear lens race protective lips. The O-stand with their quadrilock feature and great damping allows for a stable horizontal and vertical hands reviewing and still is a wave flush when you’re done and it even doubles as a ring holder as well. There is strong N56 SH magnets to use max-aive charging and max-aif accessories with a secure magnetic hold and you can even magnetically mount your phone both horizontally and vertically as well.
There is textured wavy side grips for an enhanced hold, responsive button controls and even a soft microfiber lining as well. There is zero wobble on flat surfaces and NFC or tap-to-pay works perfectly, plus you can pair it with Taurus’s HD shield screen protector for added protection. There is only one small crook to be aware of so let’s take a closer look at a big thanks to Taurus for sending this out for review.

In the box you get the Taurus Q3 Air Pro case, some stickers and a welcome card.
Design
In terms of design, the Taurus Q3 Air Pro case comes in at around 61 to 62 grams, starting with a back view so we have a large camera lens cut out right here and if I do a side view you can see it’s raised or extended enough so that if you were to place your phone camera side or lens side down your lens are not going to get scratched. Now in terms of the back so it’s a solid back it’s not see through and this has a soft feel type of touch as I run my fingers along and we do have a matte finish as well. There is also the O stand with the Taurus Q4 Lock so if I lift this up I can actually rotate this into four hard-top increments.
Now in terms of angulation you can actually go from zero degrees where it’s going to sit flush in the case all the way to an impressive 180 degrees and this is great for having the phone sit fully upright. The O stand also has good damping so you can see as I push it into position it just stays locked into place there’s no type of looseness or swing at all and when you’re done with it you just snap it into place nice and flush. The O stand also houses the strong N56 SH magnets with a secure 20 newtons of magnetic holding force. The right side of the case has a raised textured wavy diagonal patterning going on to help enhance grip and we also have matching metallic button covers along with a cover for the camera control button which is touch capacitive.
The left side of the case also has matching metallic button covers along with that same textured wavy side grip and the opposite side of the buttons have a smooth finish to ensure that your iPhones frame doesn’t get damaged. The front screen lip or bezel that goes all the way around rises about 1.45mm high and it slightly curves or wraps around to help keep the iPhone retain them in the case.
The interior of the case has a nice and soft microfiber lining with mount Everest details imprinted on here to prevent any type of damage or scratching to the back of your iPhone and the top of the case has their unique air duet dual air back system with the air pro tech dual air impact shield to give you two layers of drop protection and that coverage extends from the left side wraps all the way around to the top and in ends on the right side as well and if we do a bottom view it also wraps from the right side wraps around to the bottom by a little bit and on the left side and wraps around a little bit as well. Now the very bottom has cutouts for the speaker grill and USB Type-C port as well.
The case also has a unique slight concave type of curvature at the bottom which looks really neat. To install the iPhone 18 Pro Max I’ll start on the top right and left corners
Case Install
press down on the sides then at the bottom and just like that. And you can see that just looks extremely sharp just so stylish especially the contrast in color with the silver version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. This just looks perfectly matched and note that I have the Taurus HD shield screen protector installed on the iPhone 18 Pro Max in the case went on without any issues and if you do a close review you could see that where does the screen protector meet the case? There’s no types of gap or a space so you have edge to edge protection and coverage. The fitment is also extremely precise nothing feels loose and the iPhone feels securely retained in the case.
The front speaker grill is completely unobstructed thanks to the precise cutout and that also goes for the bottom speaker grill and USB Type-C port. The raised front screen protective lip rises high enough above the screen or a screen protector to ensure that any time you place your phone screenside down there’s no chance of your screen getting scratch and the rear camera lens sit nice and recessed behind that raised protective rear camera lip to ensure that when you place your phone camera side down or lens side down there’s no scratching to your lips.
In terms of hand feel the phone feel solid in the hand really good grip and while I can tell that the case is on the phone since it does add a little bit of extra bulk it’s really easy to manipulate this one-handed no problems at all thanks to those enhanced side grips with the wavy texture on the sides. So yeah overall just a beautiful looking case on the iPhone 18 Pro Max and let me know which color you guys think looks best.
Protection
In terms of protection the tors Q3 Air Pro case is rated for an impressive 16 feet of drop protection and I had absolutely zero damage both to the front screen or any of the rear camera lens when I dropped the iPhone both screen side down and camera lens side down. Now that’s thanks to the unique air duet dual air back system with their air pro tech which has two layers so that outermost layer is going to absorb the majority of the impact forces and that second layer is going to disperse any remaining impact forces for a serious drop protection again up to 16 feet high.
So you’re getting serious all around protection when you factor in the front protective rays lip and the rear camera lens protective lip as well and if you want additional screen protection you can pair it with the tors HEsheel screen protector as well. The O-stand with their torra quadrilox system allows

you to use the kickstand for both stable horizontal and vertical hands reviewing and even with me banging on the table it says rock solid without buckling or cups and thanks to the great damping and hinge resistance and a really cool feature on here is you can actually regulate your phone a full 90 degree to prevent those kind of unfattering low profile shock and actually have the phone standing upright at 90 degrees to take a couple of time lapse videos which is really cool. The O-stand can also be used as a ring holder for long calls or scrolling sessions to prevent you from dropping it on your

face when you’re laying down. And since the case uses strong N56 SH magnets for up to 20 newtons of magnetic cooling force this is perfect when using max if wireless charging with a strong magnetic hold and you can use G or G to wireless charging as well. Those strong magnets also allow you to use max if accessories like a max if power bank or a max if wall with a super secure hold and even with me shaking or dangling these nothing the touches. However there is that small quick I mentioned at the start of the video so do to those really strong magnets anytime you detach a max safe accessory from the top it has a tendency to lift the O-stand up till it snaps back flush into place.
Now the way to get around that is to just detach your accessories from the bottom up and dagger to the issue so not a big problem at all. When it comes to magnetically mounting the phone to metallic surfaces you can

mount it with a secure hold to most metallic surfaces due to those strong N56 SH magnets but there are some surfaces where it will slip if it’s more of a metal alloy surface. And one really cool thing about this case is that while most cases only allow for horizontal mounting since the rear camera lens do stick up and prevent you from making flush contact with a magnetic surface you can actually emulate the kickstand or old stand out so you can actually have vertical viewing as well it’s so versatile.
Wobble?
This case also exhibits zero wobble when you’re using it horizontally or vertically and using NFC or

decide between the Q3 Aircase and the Q3 Air Pro case the main differences are that the Air Pro case is going to be slightly taller due to those air-do-ed dual air-back system. It also has the soft microfiber lining which the Q3 Aircase doesn’t and it also has a solid back where as the Q3 Aircase has a semi-transparent back and we also have that curved bottom as well on the Air Pro case. like additional protection you could use torus as HD shield screen protector which I’ll install now. In the box for the torus HD shield screen protector you get an applicator guide along with a pre-installed screen protector you also get an additional screen protector and two installation kits each kit includes dust stickers a cleaning cloth, dry cloth and user manual and there’s also a scraper as well. And to install the torus HD shield screen protector go ahead and wipe your phone screen down with the included wet wipe then use a drying cloth to try it off.
If you notice any dust used the dust sticker once you’re done place the installation guide or applicator guide over your phone making sure that the top stays at the top of the phone then go ahead press it down on the sides don’t hold the top of the bottom and then pull the pull tab until it fully comes out. Wait for the air to be expelled out and then just lift the applicator guide up and off of the phone. If you notice any air bubbles just use the included scraper to gently massage those out and you’re done. The torus HD shield screen protector is now perfectly applied to the iPhone 18 Pro Max and you can see we have edge-to-edge coverage and the front speaker grill is completely unobtrusted.
And here’s a side-by-side comparison with the screen protector on or off so you can see with the screen protector on face-unlock still works perfectly fine same with the response of touch controls and the colors and clarity are still fantastic on here. This is actually one of the better screen protector that I’ve used it doesn’t seem to have taken any type of hit to the original display at all.
