If you want the ability to set custom sounds for each of your apps, it’s really easy to do. So, you’re just going to pull down from the top, tap on this settings icon right here, and then you’re going to scroll down to notifications. Under notifications, go to advanced settings, and you’re going to look for this setting at the bottom here called manage notification categories for each app. Make sure this is turned on. Once that’s turned on, what you’re going to do is go into your app. So, for example, Tik Tok. I’ll long press on her. Tap on the eye icon in the top right corner here and then tap into notifications. Once you’re in notifications, go under notification categories. Make sure allow notifications is on first.
And when you go into here, you could see if I get a comment, I can actually tap into comment. And then where it says sound, app provided sound. I can now go ahead and set any of these sounds that I want. That way my notifications can be appsp specific. So I can also go into Facebook. I’ll tap on the I again. I’ll make sure not notifications is on. Tap into notifications and then I’ll tap into notification categories. And then for example, if I get a comment, I can just tap into sound. And you can see you can set custom sounds. And the really neat thing is that you can actually set it for basically any type of notification. So you know you can have a different sound in Facebook if you got um you know a comment versus a like for example or a friend request.
