Intro
hey it’s adrian and today i wanted to do a quick unboxing and first look at this new with things scan watch so this is the one with the heartbeat notification atrial fibrillation detection and the oxygen meter and all of that all right
Unboxing
so taking a look at what comes in the box [Music] so here’s the watch it’s really it looks really nice um has a decent amount of weight to later um i’ll measure that so i’ll weigh that to see so you can see it’s uh has the sensors at the back there it’s a nice kind of domed sapphire glass the other thing it comes with is the charger for the watch so you can see those are the metal contacts there and the back of the watch would just sit in right there and it is it is magnetic so that’s going to be easy to get it to lock into place
First Look
okay so taking a more detailed look at the watch you can see here the sapphire glass it’s a bit domed you could see it protruding so it’s not flat which which is really nice and if i look at it from an angle there’s not really any any significant distortion that i can see so that should be good to read from the side the entire watch it’s this nice brushed finish pretty much throughout the entire watch the only areas that are that are polished that i can see are this outer area here enclosing the sapphire glass the minute hour hand and the hand on the subdial and then all the indices those are all polished as well you can see on the crown it has this type of ribbed texture so for easy gripping really nice the watch does have a sizeable weight i didn’t check it in terms of grams but i’ll do that in my follow-up video but you can definitely feel you’re wearing it and this is the 42 millimeter version so the band is a type of synthetic rubber material and it’s pretty flexible and it’s supposed to be good for dealing with sweat which is what you’d want in an activity watch anyway and it’s the 20 millimeter band so if you’re ever thinking about switching it out that’s what you look for again really nice the back of it has all these sensors and then this is where you would charge it so the watch is made of 316l stainless steel and that’s supposed to be good for helping with corrosion resistance again something you’d want if you’re going to be sweating and doing a lot of activities and things like that it is rated for five atmospheres or 50 meters and i think that’s about 165 feet so that should keep you covered for most activities taking a closer look at the back it shows the model so it’s an hwa 09 it says that it’s designed in france it shows the water rating and then in terms of the buckle you can see it has the withings uh text right there and then on the dial and that’s pretty much the only place it appears first
