Intro
hey it’s Adrian today I’m taking a look at this battery case for the s23 ultra now this is from a brand called neuteri and this is a 10 000 milliamp hour battery case and you can see it adds a lot of heft and size to the phone now the s93 ultra has amazing battery life straight out of the box but for those of you who are you know always on the road or you’re in areas where it’s difficult to get frequent charging this could be a good option if you can handle the weight and the size so let’s take a look and you can decide if it’s worth it for you
Charging Protections
the new Dairy packaging reveals that there’s a bunch of Protections in place so we have short circuit protection over voltage protection overcharge over current and low voltage protection the
Build Quality
quality overall feels really well so this is made with a combination of TPU PC and ABS plastic now you can see this top part here is very pliable and it’s kind of grippy and this bottom part here is kind of like a hard type of shell which houses the battery but overall it feels you know really well built and good in the hand now if we look a little bit here on the side you can see there’s a little bit of a gap there but I’m not actually able to you know shift this or pop this out so it still feels really solid but when we take a look on the inside this is a felt type of material so very soft and then we have the type C pork right at the bottom there let me see if I can get that in focus and then at the top here is this same type of smooth plastic material with the cutout for the camera lens another case you can see that we have a couple of hollow compartments both on the right side and the left side the very back of the case is where we’ll find the wireless charging portion and a button to check quick status on the battery and to enable charging but I’ll get into that
Installation
later installing the s23 ultra into the battery case requires a little bit of care so we want to insert the bone completely vertically instead of at an angle so that when we make connection with that charging port nothing gets bent so to do that we’re going to slide the phone in a little bit at an angle and you can see I’m going to slide it all the way down until I’m very close to that charging port then I’m going to stand the phone up retract this top portion and slide it down completely vertically and once it’s seated at the bottom here I’m just going to fold this top protective flap over and we’re done
Design
very simple let’s take a look at the overall design now that the battery case has been added to the s33 ultra and for the most part it’s a pretty secure fit in feel now the only area where there’s a bit of looseness is at the top here you can see as I apply pressure there’s a bit of a gap and that’s going to be present all the time because the design of this is so that the top can be retracted for insulation but if we take a look at the side of the phone here or at the bottom you can see that there is a sizable lip that protects the phone screen when you place it down flat the side of the phone has buttons for the volume up and down and the power button and you can see those are both very responsive looking at the bottom of the case you can see that the area for the S Pen is a bit recessed it’s not completely flush and that’s meant so that you could just take the S Pen in and out really easily and that works really well now you can see that the speaker bill is unobstructed so is that microphone port and the charging port for the case however there is another Port that is blocked the cutout doesn’t actually touch it and I’m not sure if that’s for a secondary microphone or an air hole which is what I found online the microphone at the top of the case is completely unobstructed the camera modules have a cutout and there is a very slight lip to help protect the camera lens however it’s not really necessary because you can see that the battery pack portion is so thick that whenever you rest this on the table the camera modules are completely elevated off the table or any surface you place it on one thing to note is that the taxi charging port at the bottom of the case is meant to just charge the case it doesn’t charge the phone to charge your phone you’re going to be using the case directly or using the wireless charging feature on the case one neat thing is that because the bottom of the case is so wide and all the weight is situated at the bottom when you put the phone down you can just have it stand up while you’re eating and watching without needing you know an extra accessory it hasn’t that cut out where the S Pen is you can see that there’s a little bit of wobble but as I’m touching it you know there’s not really a tendency for the fall over unless you apply significant pressure about the battery life so this
Battery Performance
battery pack is a 10 000 milliamp hour and the s23 ultra has a 5 000 milliamp hour battery so that means you can get two completely full charges out of this battery pack now for reference here is a 10 000 milliamp hour battery pack and you can see that this is actually not that big when compared to a dedicated power bank with the same type of capacity let’s do a charging test so right now I’m at 69 percent and what I’m going to do is I’m going to go ahead and turn on the battery charging and you could see that because I’ve long pressed it’s actually now actively charging the phone and it’s estimating around 53 minutes until I charge it fully so I’m going to start the timer and then we’re going to take a look foreign 15 minutes of charging we’ve gained eight percent in battery life if I take a look at the battery life remaining in the case I have four dots and each of these dots represents 2500 milliamp hours so after 15 minutes of charging I still have an exhaustive a full 2500 milliamp hours 15 minutes of charging yielded 8 battery life and 30 minutes of charging yielded 15 battery life so that works out to about 0.5 to 0.53 percent of battery life every minute one thing to note is that the lower the battery life on your phone the faster it tends to charge and then as it gets up into the 80 and 90 the charging starts to slow down to prevent overcharging to take a look at the remaining battery life on the case you would quick press the power button now to activate charging we would press and hold and you could see that the phone is charging now and then you would press and hold again to deactivate charging so this is not something that you’re likely to trigger accidentally in your pocket so yeah the battery performance is really good on here and you’re definitely going to get two full charges out of this if your phone’s at zero but if you normally start topping your phone back up at say 50 obviously you’re going to get way more charges out of it by the way guys if you’re finding this video helpful please consider liking and subscribing it really helps me up but let’s get back to it when it’s time to
Case Charging
recharge the battery case or top up the battery case we’re just gonna pop in this type c cable and if you take a look down here it shows that it’s going to be 17 minutes until the phone’s fully charged but what’s interesting is if we rotate the case you could see that the case is also being charged simultaneously so anytime you plug in a type c cable to the case it’s going to charge both the phone and the case which is really handy to have the only issue with having the case and your phone charge simultaneously is this phone will probably hit a hundred percent while the case is still charging and I don’t want the phone’s battery to keep receiving a charge so for that I’ve made a video with Bixby routines and there’s a routine in there to limit battery charging once your phone hits a hundred percent so click in the top right corner and you can check out that routine I also have a wireless charger which is my preferred way to charge my phone and battery case so you can see with this battery case that does allow for wireless charging so if I go ahead and pop that on there we can see that it’s showing that it is charging and it’s going to be 14 minutes until fully charged obviously wireless charging is a little bit slower similar to how wired charging charges the case and the phone if I go ahead and put this wireless charger at the back here you should see those LEDs light up so right now the case and the phone is being charged simultaneously super cool feature with
Weight
the new dirty case added to the phone the total weight comes in at around 448 grams for contacts a can of soda or pop comes in at around 384 grams so it’s about 60 grams lighter than with the s23 ultra and the new Dairy battery case the case by itself with no phone comes in at 214 gram times the s23 ultra comes in at 233 grams by itself it comes to
Ergonomics
ergonomics you can see that from my pinky to my thumb it’s a little over eight inches you’re looking at about one inch once the new Dairy case is added to the foam the added depth on the phone it still didn’t take me too long to be able to use the phone and navigate around so you can see that I can easily still reach and search between apps and then I could just slide the phone down access my settings from the top here so yeah with a little bit of practice you can easily get the hang of using it even with that added weight and depth the last thing I want to touch on is just day-to-day use with this case on and you can see it adds a considerable amount of heft and weight tip so this is not something that you could just hold up to your ear you know for 10-15 minutes at a time for a phone call it gets very tiring and cumbersome gripping such a wide grip and holding it up to your ear so I have been using a Bluetooth earpiece anytime I run this case alright

so can I recommend this new Dairy battery case for the s23 ultra and I would say if you you need juice and you don’t want to carry around a separate power bank plus a type c cable to charge your phone then this is an awesome option of course there are some power banks that let you do wireless charging but it’s capped at you know 15 watts this is going to be a much faster option than that and you can do it Wireless Plus wired so you’re getting the Best of Both Worlds however you do have to plan out your use case because take a look at that increase in size and depth so if you’re going to be using this on a car you know when you’re driving there’s not a lot of phone mount holders that can you know easily support this type of weight and this deep of a phone in a case yes there are some but you’re gonna have to hunt a little bit now there is also going to be a little bit of an adjustment period while you go ahead and learn how to use you know a phone with this type of size or form factor now because a lot of the weight is concentrated in the bottom here and that’s where it would rust in your palm it actually is pretty manageable to use and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to tip or anything like that it’s pretty well balanced yeah also make sure you’re going to be wearing you know come comfortable jeans and not those skinny jeans because this is going to look ridiculous just sticking out of your jeans so yeah if you want an option where it’s just one single unit then this might be worth it for you if you could handle the weight and the size so I’m going to leave some links in the description down below and you can check it out for yourself and as always if you found this video helpful please consider liking and subscribing it really does help me out a ton guys and I’ll see in the next one soon
